Never check voice mails for scripts, or delete before getting the pertinent information. Questioned about it by the prescribing Physician. The pharmacist intentionally hung up on him. You can make your own decisions, I removed our cash cow and gave it to Brookshires, haven't looked back since!

The CVS store isn't based on this review JUST THE PHARMACY! 1. Bring your phone in and have Netflix or YouTube ready the wait is worse then the DMV with on 5 people in line... (currently I'm 5th in-line and I've been here 38min. 2. This isn't a pharmacy that cares about anything, I told them I can't take that brand and y'all are aware of this because of the Bad reaction I have with it, the pharmacist said well do you want it or not? No!!!! I want the script that's in my notes, that I call in 7 days before to ensure you order it! Anyways read the other reviews it's all the same. I've since changed to Brookshires Pharmacy and they are amazing... But this time I went to the hospital and they sent my script to CVS... I asked to have it changed but because of what the script was they would needed to do something... idk... so anyways here I am still 5th in line.... I have no clue why this place is so horrible but 40 min and the same customer is still at the counter... drive through line still has the same vehicle... They don't even acknowledge that you're in front of them... Well I'm still 5th in line it's now been 45min and they close in 50min! Oh snap 4th in line @ 47min ONE CUSTOMER IN 47 MINUTES!!!

I have never liked CVS. Not just this location but all locations. I never have enjoyable experiences and the people are always rude. I live 25 minutes outside of Sulphur springs. I went to pick up my some prescription along with a few other things and i stood at the counter for some time without either of them acknowledging my presence. I turned around to grab a protein bar and when i turned back around the pharmacist said that it was past 1:30 and they were leaving for lunch. (It was then 1:32) i told her i was standing there before and no one paid attention to me. She just said "sorry, we will be back" i live 30 minutes away... I'm not going to drive all the way home so i went for a walk to buy some time. When i came back i realized i didn't have my wallet since it's a sch. 2 drug.. i understood why they couldn't give me the RX but asked if i could just pay for it along with my other items and just pick it up the next time I'm in town. They said no because they can't get past the ID screen without it. So i asked why i could pay for it online and pick it up later but i can't pay for it in person, they couldn't give me an answer. This will be the last time i will walk into a CVS. They need to hold higher standards. I'll pay extra to go somewhere else.

Unfortunetly the worse pharmacy service I have ever experience including mixup with a kid medicine dose. Don't even bother.

Have had numerous problems with this CVS, I previously used the one on Church St. with no problems. I switched my pharmacy long ago because of issues with them keeping medicine in stock, however I just recently had to switch my husband to a different pharmacy. The first problem I had, my husband called in his medicine 3 days before he ran out and they were out of stock, it took 5 day's to get it. I started calling a week in advance with no issues, even though the sign says to call a day ahead (see attached picture). However, the last straw was this past week, he called in a prescription Monday that would run out Friday morning. The automated line said that there were no refills, no big deal, called the doctor office Tuesday morning first thing and they sent the prescription over. CVS said they never received it even though the office sent it and verified it. They tried sending it again Thursday since they would be closed Friday, and again CVS said they never received it. He ran out of his medicine and we ended up in the ER Saturday evening. I called the doctor office Monday morning and had them send the prescription to Cody Drug who was already working on the prescription before I could call and verify!

Very disappointed in the lack of care from the pharmacy staff. They are always abrupt and impersonal, with the exception of one male pharmacist. I plan to transfer all of our prescriptions away from CVS, simply based off lack of professionalism and compassion.

I only rated 1 star because 0 isn't an option. Let me start by saying we have been faithful customers of this pharmacy since they first came to Sulphur Springs TX after buying out Medicine Chest. We have watched as the service has dwindled. Now that they recently closed the other store they had across from the hospital the service is non existent. One of the services they supposedly offer is to call in a refill via an automated system and you can choose the day or time of day you would like to pick it up but apparently this system is in need of an overhaul. Don't think that because you have chosen a time or day that it will be ready when you get there. I have monthly refill prescriptions and I try to be fair about what time in the afternoon I will need them which maybe my downfall because they are no longer ready on time and I have recently waited an additional 1 1/2hr. Last time I was in there to pick up a prescription the poor clerk was running 2 registers at the same time. Clearly they are under staffed which has contributed to the poor and rude manner in which the staff treats its customers. When I called about a prescription today, after waiting 9 min 57 sec on hold, I was greeted by an extremely rude clerk named Lacy who actually hung up on me. I called the store back and spoke with the store manager named Kat who unfortunately doesn't have the ability to listen to the recorded phone calls but she proceeded to inform me that she could talk to the clerk and the pharmacy manager which failed to solve the issue I had initially called about to begin with. I have had recent conversations with others who have also expressed their mistreatment by this store who are considering or have already transferred their prescriptions to other pharmacies in the area. Needless to say, after today I no longer have a dilemma and our prescriptions will be transferred as well.

The CVS Pharmacy located 1101 Gilmer, Sulphur Springs, Tx is in my opinion one of the worst pharmacies you could choose. Long wait times, even after calling to verify that your meds are ready and letting them know that you are on your way to pick them up (it's not like it's just a couple minute drive for me, it's over 25 miles or like today leaving Paris, Tx and needing my meds today. Called before I left and still not ready for pick-up after a 54 mile drive and I still have another 25 miles to drive after leaving CVS), poor communication with the customer (as an example today I wasn't notified that they are out of one of my meds until I arrived to pick my meds up and it's too late to call my doctor and have that prescription canceled and sent to another pharmacy.) The sad thing is that this is one of the better pharmacies in Sulphur Springs Tx

The worst pharmacy ever. Took over a week to get prescription filled. Then the pharmacist lied and told me it's because one of the four prescriptions I dropped off had no refills. Funny thing is that when I called and spoke to a rude pharmacy tech who transferred me to a lying pharmacist, the pharmacist said they didn't know the doctors information but when I went in after calling my doctors office, who by way sent the refill in within 15 minutes of me talking to them, the pharmacist told me they faxed my doctor on three different occasions and they had never responded. I called her out on the lie and told her she could at least get her stories straight. I did get some amusement out of waiting though, heard the tech tell someone in the drive thru window that they were out of stock on his meds but they would have them in 2 days. So they are not only liars, they are incompetent. I'll take my business elsewhere for now on. CVS

Was in Sulphur Springs ER on 3/19- was given a prescription for Erythromycin ointment 3.5mg. Went to the drive through. Pharmacy says, "There's a problem with your insurance. I have to go through 45 different drugs to see which ones are approved. I will call you unless you want to wait" We gave them our telephone number. We didn't hear anything for 12 hours. We went in to the pharmacy. They said every time they tried to run the insurance it was, "declined" -then we were told, "they don't except anthem Blue Cross" We got no call from the pharmacy. We went over 13 hours without the prescribe medication from the emergency room We drove two blocks down to, "Walgreens"-and were able to get the prescription filled easily! Walgreens ran the script and filled it-they didn't have the problems the CVS did. So apparently they are incompetent or DO NOT accept Blue Cross Anthem Insurance. Ether way this isn't a place we won't be back
