Took my cat in the other day after a couple hours of throwing up/diarrhea. The assistant went over the cost of each treatment and had us decide which ones we wanted to test. They ran blood work and gave us antibiotics to take home after saying her vitals were normal, except her WBC was low. Later that day she died. Highly do not recommend this place.

Toe nails cut & suggestions about body odor. Friendly & helpful. Would return with a vet that came across as more sure of herself.

Always have a great experience using this vet clinic. I usually take cattle and always get the help I need from a very knowledgeable veterinarian. On my last visit, I took a kitten we adopted from our local shelter that was having trouble with a very stopped up and snotty nose he had for several days. I didn't have an appointment but they managed to work us in very quickly. They were very nice and pleasant to work with and got him some medicine and he was feeling much better even by the very next day.

Our dog was sick the Saturday of a holiday weekend and I found HCVS since our regular vet was closed. What a fantastic experience! The facilities were gorgeous, the staff was amazing, and we were able to get in right away. The price was very reasonable and the service was great. Highly recommend!

French bulldog community be advised!I established our frenchie momma with this vet weeks prior to delivery. We knew she was due on Christmas Day and called and talked to the front office about our due date and our need to have an on call vet on standby. They needed to have a consultation with her to get her established, no problem, we did all of our reverse progesterone (blood test) spent hundreds of dollars with them, the week prior to Christmas and we ALL knew based on those results she would be delivering over the Christmas weekend. Christmas Eve I called the emergency line and they paged Dr. Vanessa, she called me back within 10 mins. I did tell her that evening that mommas temp was starting to fall and it would likely be within 24 hours and just wanted to confirm in an emergency they would be available. I was reassured that Sterlings name was on the board going into the weekend and that every on call vet there knew to expect it. She reassured that if mom went into labor go ahead and head up there (I live an hour and half away) and that someone would be ready to perform a csection. I felt so much better off that call, knowing someone would be there in our emergency. Well, Christmas night our girl went into labor. Did as I was told, called the vet and left a message with their call center and sent my husband on his way to the vet. Within 45 mins he was half way there and I hadn’t got a call back so I called the answering service again. I was told that the on call vet had just text her back to let her know he was going to be unavailable to perform the csection that evening. At this point it’s 1am, my husband is sitting in the parking lot of the vet with a momma in distress. I called multiple times, the answering service said she had done everything within her protocol and had reached out to the vet several times with no response. Full panic mode! I called every vet any where near or far from there to find help. At almost 3am I found a vet that took mercy on me and got her in. An hour and a half away from the original vet. So at this point my poor girl was in the car for HOURS in labor now even further from home. Thanks to the other vet my momma dog safely delivered healthy puppies. Had we sat and waited for this vet to open they could have all died!I did call the vet this morning, still no reach out from them from the overnight emergency. I spoke with the office manager and she let me know that I should always have a plan B, that they aren’t always available in the middle of the night. She also put the blame on the on call vet from the night before, saying that she shouldn’t have guaranteed they would be available.ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY for the actual on call vet. I did everything I was supposed to do for my animal, this vet REALLY dropped the ball! It was very upsetting and disappointing.Just so you know, you can NOT depend on them to be available and PLEASE, for the sake of your own dog, have a trustworthy plan B!!

If I could give more stars, I would! I met Dr Mark today to check my little goat and he was the nicest vet I’ve ever met!! And I’ve met a lot! He was genuinely interested in me as a customer and was so kind. The other staff were so nice as well. I think we found our forever vet!! Awesome customer service goes a long way!!! Bravo!!!

We took our sweet 21 year old, Sadie Mae, to HCVC this morning. It was her time to cross the rainbow bridge. This amazing clinic has a separate entrance and private room for this. We have never been here and did not have an appointment. They welcomed us with so much support and care. The euthanasia room made our Sadie feel like she was at home and not at the vet. The tech, Brent, took care of our every need and even spoiled her with some peanut butter. His words were the comfort we needed in that moment. The vet, Vanessa, was so sweet and calm and walked us through everything that was happening/about to happen. These two did more than just their “job”. If you’re having to make this difficult choice, I promise you, this place & their staff will be your guiding light. Our Sadie Mae deserved the best and that’s exactly what she got. ?

I had to take a miniature pinscher, Angel to be put to sleep she was 13 years old. Best staff, the crew was extremely sweet nice gentle loving and caring. This was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do, but I know my baby girl is out of pain. They gave me clay with her paw prints. Thank you for being comforting at a difficult time. I recommend Hopkins County veterinary.
