Hate to do this but felt like someone should be aware- I went to run in to see if they had a specific protein powder. It was 30 minutes before the store closed and I saw the employee mopping…. I was just going to run in and then run out… when the employee saw me walking up, he turned around to not face toward the windows and started screaming and cursing VERY aggressively. I immediately turned around and did not enter the store out of fear… I understand people have bad days, but as a young women, this made me feel extremely uncomfortable.

Unfortunately, so many people are unaware of what it is to own or operate a small business, especially as a franchise of a large corporation. All these reviews about online pricing, etc. are extremely unfair to the individual store owner. If you compare this location to others, you will realize it's incredibly well cared for and run by people who truly want the best for their customers. Always has the good stuff, place is clean and stocked. I've never had anything but helpful and pleasant experiences. In fact I drive an extra 20 minutes to go to this location over others.
That said, I'm sure if you try to strong arm the owner who's there 50, 60+ hours a week into giving you to discounts that he cannot sustain or does not offer you might be disappointed. But for me personally even if I somehow spend a few more dollars it's my pleasure and well deserved these folks care.
It's really sad so many people would speak Ill of someone simple for being told No. A bunch of softes, the owner and staff here are top notch if you're a decent person not coming into HIS store entitled, this store should have best ratings of any gnc in town, ive visited them all, I go here everytime. Other stores are randomly closed, half empty and operated by someone who was working at Chick-fil-A the day before..cmon guys...

OWNER DOES NOT HONOR ONLINE DISCOUNTS. Rejected my order after advertising the discount. Dishonest and unethical business practices by the owner, David Brawner. Paid for products online, drove across town, and was met with false advertising.

Won’t honor GNC online pricing. Doesn’t honor GNC promotions. Won’t sell a box of a product - rather 12 individual items. It’s sold as a box online…. Greedy.

Should have read reviews. There are other, better rated GNC stores to visit close by with nicer employees that don’t rip you off.

Visit this place yesterday to purchase a nutrition powder, the attending person there is distracted. When I paid him, he refused to give me my change back. He argue that he already had given it to me. When he never did. Even the receive was not given until ask a couple times. I feel cheated over the change that was due.

This is my favorite and 'Go-To' GNC in the entire Austin area. There are many other GNCs but this one is mine :p. This GNC is a DAS Labs / Bucked Up Retailer and that's a big draw for Me as well as their plentiful selection given that size of the store and with that aggressive strain on the supply chain within the supplement industry at the moment! The location is great as well as it's near many Gyms in that area as well as close to Supermarkets and Restaurants which is another draw for Me to always shop at this GNC!

I never write reviews but I really want the owner of this location to know how horrible he is. I’ve had a negative experience at this location before (I overheard him talking to another customer about how he can’t believe some women have abortions???) and I have avoided coming back ever since but I was in the area and needed to return a product I purchased online. He made a huge deal because his franchise would lose money from an online return. He then tells me he needs to have a physical copy of the receipt for “his records.” I had the original confirmation email with the order number and offered to forward the email to him but he became incredibly rude and insisted I go home to get the invoice but he said I “probably threw it away.” After a few minutes of arguing with him I ended up taking my stuff and leaving. He was obviously just trying to make things difficult for me so he wouldn’t lose money. I hate sounding like a Karen but I’ll definitely not be coming back to this location or any other one that he owns.
