“I did online pickup and the customer service rep was awesome! They were only able to partially fill my order due to low stock, but she found another location nearby who had the item and called to request that they hold the item for me. I so appreciated her kindness and patience with my requests. Great shopping experience! I will definitely return.”
“Friends & Fidos visit Buda and Proof Deli came through with magnificent sandwiches on Good Friday! The hot Reuben was fabulous, the Dali Lama was so delicious especially on Good Friday (!) and the Smoking Bird was out of this world. The doggies were treated to water and felt especially welcomed; the weather made the event quite memorable!”
“Came in to get something to make a hot toddy. Whatever is in this air isn't playing. The staff was so kind and assisted me with my purchase. Even got puppy treats for my furbaby. He liked the energy in the store he didn't bark at all. And the music was awesome.”
“I wandered in today looking for a specific liquor that the distillery's website said was stocked here. I was greeted warmly when I walked in and asked about the thing. The computer said there was one in stock, so the guy went looking in the back and asked the manager for me. No luck. Then I went brain dead on the brand of rum I wanted, but he helped me figure it out quickly. I then wanted to just look around, and in that time, heard everyone else getting the same awesome service. A second person came back from lunch and was immediately tuned in and helpful as well. Absolutely amazing place with a great selection.”

“What an amazing place! It’s lined from top to bottom with toys and video games from the last several decades. My son and I loved doing the scavenger hunts! Definitely coming back!”
“My favorite retail wine selection in Austin! You can ALWAYS find something cool at lots of different price points. And the people behind the counter are friendly:) Highly recommend the Patel co-ferment.”
“Almost too good to be true! Fully customizable gift baskets at extremely moderate prices, with an amazing selection of wine/champagne bottles, canned drinks, snacks, treats, food, small gifts, and more! The website was so easy to use to customize your own basket, and spend as much or as little as you want. AND Same day delivery for no added fee - AMAZING! I ordered at 10am and it was delivered before 2pm. I was so impressed with the whole process, and grateful for finding them! Everyone is getting gift baskets from now on!”

“PARTY BARN SAVED MY PARTY!!! This is not an understatement. After Spec's failed to fulfill my keg of Meanwhile beer, not once, BUT TWICE (on two different occasions), someone directed me to Party Barn. Joshua, the manager, was incredibly sympathetic and went out of his way, above and beyond to make sure we had our favorite beer for our crawfish boil!! This is some of the best customer service I've received in a long time, and I will only be ordering my kegs from Party Barn from now on!!!! Joshua is THE BEST!!!”
“Wonderful wine shop on the eastside at an absolutely enchanting location! Great option for date nights, happy hours, and small gatherings. The staff is so kind and knowledgeable. Cannot recommend them enough!”
“Nice neighborhood store with a solid selection of beer, wine, and snacks. Always clean and stocked, and the employees are friendly. Super convenient for quick stops.”
“They really went above and beyond my expectations. I had initially ordered from twin liquors and never had a problem but this time my experience was awful and the associate I spoke with was horrible trying to order a bottle of liquor for my son but South Lamar wine & spirits really came through for my order and went out of there way to deliver my order. I will be using them from now on and highly recommend them.”
“I love it here! The staff is always super nice and helpful. If its recently new, released or whats upcoming they will have it here! I went shopping around at 3 different major brand stores and couldn't find Deep Eddys pineapple vodka but they had it here. My fav liquor store for sure! The prices are awesome and if they dont have it they'll order it.”
“While serving all of their customers in the neighborhood, they also have a high quality selection of different style liquors. When you visit, be sure to check out the Mezcal Selection…None better.”

“I am new to wines and this was a great place to start. Not only a great selection of wine but also a font of information is available from all the staff.
If you don't understand something, tell them, they are happy to help you.”
“Very friendly staff and great to deal with. We had tickets to the black rabbit comedy next door. We bought some drinks from here since it's BYOB. The doors weren't opening at the venue for thirty minutes. We'd bought some booze from these guys, they stuck it back in the fridge for us and had it ready when we came back. Very chill, great selection, would highly recommend.”
“Tyler holds it down like a boss; knows his spirits and is easy to talk with.
The Selection is INSANELY good for a spirits lover; from the newest Whistle Pig Boss Hog in a place of honor to 1 liter Weller bottles stashed on different shelves, all the agave you need and samples galore!
What’s not to love?”
“Great selection. Competitive prices. The gentleman Abe that helped me out was a very nice family man that was helpful with finding exactly what ive been looking for. Will be back”
“Today was my first time in this place. I love the wide range of products from around the world there. I pick up German, Japanese, Canadian and Swedish food items. Will be stopping by every time I pass by.”
“Manoj will go down in folk lore history allowing us to grab Austin Texas by the big, buckaneering cahoonas and conquer the small apple. Test rivalries aside, Manoj has been like a brother to us, and not only has he clocked that we’re functioning alcoholics with our 7 stints in the store within 36 hours, but he’s not judged us once, and served us with a smile on his face ?? no doubt Manoj will be running an empire of liquor stores one day, hopefully this review is the push he needs to make the final step”
“Seriously, great wine, selection - you can always come in and get a quality recommendation for a fabulous wine regardless of what you’re looking for. If you like different wines and a customized experience, I would definitely recommend West Woods.they have a full selection of liquors also, but I mainly really come here for the wine selection and knowledgeable staff and always recommend it”
“Monarch Liquor is absolutely my favorite liquor store in the area. The selection is outstanding with a huge variety of wines, spirits, and beers for every taste and budget. The store is well organized and spotlessly clean which makes browsing a real pleasure. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and always ready to help you find the perfect bottle for any occasion. The prices are very reasonable and you always feel like you are getting great value. I would recommend Monarch Liquor to anyone looking for a top quality shopping experience.”
“Always love coming here! The staff is wonderful and they have the best prices around. You also dont need a costco membership to shop here. Come here to stock up!”

“Very cool and small spirits shop. Lots of wine and champagne and I love that he took the time to write hand written notes and descriptions for the bottles. Great plane and highly recommend check out!”
“I Went there to buy some beer for a buddy’s bachelor party last minute. He told me to bring some weird IPAs and it turns out I could not have ended up in a better spot. This place had an awesome selection of drinks, an extremely courteous staff, and an excellent chef. The samosas are the bomb!”
“I had the pleasure of meeting and chatting with Joseph, he’s the coolest guy ever and extremely friendly! Gave me great prices on a few bottles, needless to say, I will be shopping with Joseph every time I come to Austin!”
“While I usually visit in person, I ordered delivery a few times recently. The owner himself has even delivered it before. Super friendly and helpful and quick delivery. The wine and soda I ordered were also cold, which I wasn't expecting, and was very convenient.”

“Excellent store regarding the staff, the product availability & selection, as well as great prices!
To mention manager Lupe, outstandingly professional, positive, patient, knowledgeable, caring, thorough, who went the extra mile to help searching for, & found the items promptly for me, 2 products of an unique European type spirit (Grappa di Chanti, Grappa di Moscato Mauro Sebaste, both like a vodka distilled from grapes).
Also another staff member (who in humility refused to publish his name, very polite, professional and caring), went as well at great lengths to search and guide me to manager Lupe, that actively was surveying around the store.
At checkout, the cashier Alex was very positive, prompt and caring.
The store is located in a friendly, safe and clean area.
I would appreciate if the store owner acknowledges them.
I strongly recommend this place!”
