Only stayed overnight, but we thought this park was great. We had a nice long, level pull thru, there's plenty of well kept grass between spaces, everything clean & well maintained. Only drawback was the proximity to I-20, but we would definitely stay here again.

Excellent overnight stop. Large pull thru FHU. Park is clean and well kept. Some hi-way noise. Across the street from Love's truck stop. Short walk to Arby's at Loves, or to Freddy's custard and steak burgers. Checks or cash only, no cards. $39.50 with either Good Sam or military discount. (may have other discounts as well). We will stay here again when passing through.

I read the reviews on this site and while it is just off the highway and adjacent to Love’s gas station - the noise level was not that bad. But of course we used to live near the path of an airport so my husband and I are not phased by loud noise and he is somewhat hard of hearing. The noise that bother me most was the tree limbs scratching against our roof! It sounded like a bird was in distress ?. But the grounds was well kept and even though the sites weren’t level it wasn’t a bad park. They had all the necessary amenities that one needs to survive a few days or more!

Nice little park - the sites are not level but they were well kept as was the entire park. They had all the necessary amenities and although adjacent to the Loves Fueling station the noise was not as loud as some described it. But then again it maybe that i am use to the sound of the highway as we use to live in the path of an airport. The gal was helpful and friendly. The bathrooms were clean and neat. All in all it was a decent stop for us and we would certainly stay again if we come through these parts again and

I spent the entire month of September traveling around Texas and discovered that the Bar JHitchin Post is by far the number 1 Texas and Americana RV experience.Owned and managed by great Texans. A great Rancher at the top, a wonderful all Texan strong and very wise mother at the reins and two fine men that are still today and for many days ahead the classic example of the strong stature and strong willed men that made our country great. A great life long cowboy, blacksmith, range cook who mastered a Studebaker trail kitchen wagon, a rootin tootin cowboy, salt of the earth, that also shares the roots of this great state with the original Texas inhabitants, the Comanche. This cowboy has partnered up with another great American who has been a life long railroad man. The railroads crisscrossing the country beginning early in the nineteenth century is what had brought our country together in all ways.Meet these two great Americans daily before noon and stop to say hello or howdy. Don't hesitate to swap history and life stories.Cowboying, railroading, hunting, fishing, and s0oo much more. Both men are knowledgeable of rich Texas history and are even active reenact-ors of frontiersmen and native Indians, including full period dress and firearms. When you stay at The Bar J Hitchin post, enjoy the ranch and range decor of the barn lounge with amenities such as wash board and tub for guests use, the indoor outhouses. Too bad websites don’t have sound. This place, while very clean and well kept, is incredibly noisy. Located right off I-20, next to active railroad tracks and directly across the street from a Love’s Travel Stop, it was so loud we couldn’t open the windows and heard the trucks, trains and traffic even with our AC on.The pull-through slip had full hookups and was kinda level; our wheels were almost off the ground after the auto level stopped. The cable is as useless as the WiFi: 11 channels with four showing no signal and the on-air channels are equally sparse. The WiFi totally sucked, beach balling more than connecting. We had one bar with ATT so if you’re here for more than one night, bring a book.We were in site 49 in a 32’ Class C rig towing a VW. We paid $39.50 with Good Sam. You get what you pay for . . .

RV park was beautiful, lots of green grass, immaculate shower facilities. One inconvenient aspect was electric service. We had good indicators on our surge protector, however there was an unknown cause that we experienced low voltage, that did not permit our air conditioner to function properly overnight. Unknown if related: there was massive new construction going on a few feet from our campsite and we wonder if that caused voltage issues throughout the neighborhood.A service technician at our next location assured us with proper voltage our air conditioner works perfectly and it does. We would come again as long as we continue to bring and trust in our testing equipment.

This is a nice park, drives were all asphalt but the sites were gravel and not very level. Seemed to be a lot of full time people, but sites were kept clean and neat, not like some places we have been. All the employees we encountered were friendly and helpful. There was no dog park, but Love's across the street did have one. The place did have cable TV, but the connectors were not complete and therefore unusable.

I've been living at this RV park since March 2023. First day I stayed at this park I was placed in the back corner in a very uneven lot that actually damaged my stabilizers. In the morning I asked for a different spot and was given a choice to move near the office at lot 2 or 3. Both spots were the same uneven ground, and my trailer was practically leaning to the left. The park offers free cable but doesn't give the cable needed to hookup to your camper (Have to provide your own and it's a handful of channels). The groundskeeper watches for people who are parked even the slightest bit on the grass and tells the owner, so you have to move. I was given permission from the front office to park my second vehicle behind my trailer and the next day I was sent an angry text that I need to move my vehicle immediately. I called the front office and told them you gave me permission to park there and the lady in the office said she would tell her boss what had happened. The owner of the park told me to move my vehicle and I got in trouble after given permission. There has been a lot of construction going on behind our lot and loads of dust blowing into our ac unit, rv and vehicles making them very dirty. The sewage drain didn't drain well and often build up in the pipes cause of the uneven ground. The Wi-Fi at the park is very slow and you can barely stream YouTube on your devices. Just recently they started putting asphalt around the park and warned everyone they needed drive 5 mph around the park. I was at work and received another rude text saying it's our final warning because we were driving too fast. Both my wife and I were confused because we weren't speeding. People drive around the park daily faster than 5mph, but we get this text. We just got fed up with the rude texts/complaints and decided to move to another park. For $50 more we moved down the road to the loves rv park that has concrete slabs to park our rv, nice grass, better Wi-Fi speeds and an additional spot to park our vehicle.

Roomy spots, easy pull in. Good prices, nice and clean. Only drawback was a bit too close to a noisy hwy!

Very clean park. A little highway noise on one side and train noise on the other but, once I went to bed and turned on a fan, I didn't hear any more of it. Owners are friendly as are the employees we encountered. Drives are asphalt, spaces are gravel and could use some leveling. Appears to be a lot of long-term people but not junked up like a lot of long-term parks are. Utilities were fine other than most of the cable connectors didn't have the female fitting so were unusable. Have to walk across the street to Love's in order to have a dog park. I would have no problem staying there again though.

This is literally the nicest RV park that I have ever stayed in. The grounds and bathrooms/showers are immaculate and absolutely beautiful. The office is also gorgeous and a great place to hang out. As we were getting ready to leave, our front jack broke and the cowboy on staff was quick to offer a hand. He was so pleasant and kind. I can't say enough good about this place and can't wait to visit again!
