Black Sparrow Music Parlor is a unique, historically preserved event space in downtown Taylor, Texas, ideal for workshops, meetings, video shoots, and special events. The venue, which dates back to 1883, is a gorgeous bar and music venue, decorated beautifully with a wood paneled room. It serves as a community watering hole and cultural center with the best vibes, offering great cocktails, exceptional coffee, and a delightful selection of beverages and snacks. While originally a live music venue open to the public, it is now available only through private rentals by the hour or day. It remains a terrific venue for live music and frequent music events, described as the beating heart of Taylor. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and super friendly and cool, contributing to a laid back and fun atmosphere. There is free street parking nearby.
Great music, cold drinks, and hot coffee. This place is a nice escape and a must-visit when in Central Texas. Big town vibes, small town luxury all around fun.

This place is decorated so beautifully and has the best vibes. The owner is super friendly and cool, and the customers are very laid back and fun. Terrific venue for live music!

I loved this place from the moment I stepped in. Can't say enough about the proprietor, she is a remarked person to spend some time chatting with.
Was here for a day trip to visit an old friend. Hoping to come back to hear some music.
