Now, don't get me wrong, I know there is a good reason for you to play dumb on this issue. I'm sure Oneplus doesn't want their customers to know that warranty repairs are done by a third party. I was surprised. But according to FedEx, your address is where my phone was delivered. And there seems to be some problem between you two and the whereabouts/and or condition of my oneplus 12, delivered Oct 9th, signed for by B Dubec. Oh, and about 30 reddit posts listing Acer and your address where their phones were "repaired". But I happy to find out that it actuality an US company,in fact, not one in China. Makes litigation so much easier. Or how about you don't take the time to respond to this, which will be erased once I have a tracking number for my phone so you could actually go fix it, if you indeed have not lost it, as oneplus reps seem to be dancing around giving me a definite answer on that. Either way, I just want my god damn phone shipped out today. Your BBB page is already so full of complaints, I feel mine would just get lost in all of it. So pleas just do both of us a favor, and send my now considered stolen property to me today, as tomorrow I will be filing a police report with the local temple PD. Have your self a wonderful day.

Lazy management, even lazier technicians. I’m talking AI-replaceable techs who regurgitate what a Google search could tell you about your product’s issues instead of testing it.
Thankfully, I was able to get my issue resolved no thanks to one of the “managers” I called (Kegan or something like that). I don’t think I’ve ever heard a grown man throw a child tantrum/meltdown until I spoke with him. The boy needs yoga or breathing exercises. Maybe Acer can provide those benefits, or just fire him.

Acer Predator owned 14 months, that’s 2 months past warranty, would not boot. Was sent to local, Best Buy and Staples. Both said no chance, buy a new one. I spent around $2000 for 14 months. Acer offered repair center in Texas where they quoted me $350. I jumped at the chance. It came back with new motherboard and processor and total loss of software and data. No communication and no way call them. Charged $840. No warranty on repair. Lots of luck, see you later sucker.
Follow-up; after being offered resolution at Acer corp. I called and spoke to Mark. Mark told me that my quote was what Acer authorized with “my bank” prior to repair and not what I was told verbally on the phone. Apparently i was supposed to check my credit card auth requests daily to see if they intended to charge me more. This is not an ethical policy.

In my opinion, I would first recommend google searching for "Acer defective product reviews" and "Acer planned obsolescence" to gain insights from other customer reviews. AND reflecting on why our products encounter issues in a relatively short period of time after purchase, and whether Acer products have potential quality issues.
Personally, not only do I have a defective Nitro 5 laptop, but I also endured a horrendous repair experience with it.
My experience with Acer's warranty repair service for my Nitro 5 laptop has been extremely disappointing. Despite being assured of a 3-5 business day repair timeframe and a total process duration of one to two weeks, Acer failed to meet any of these commitments.
Upon sending in my laptop for repair, I anticipated a quick resolution. However, days passed without any updates on the status of my repair. When I contacted Acer support, I was informed that they lacked the necessary part to fix my laptop. When I inquired about a timeline for the repair, Acer support was even unable to provide any estimated completion date!!
Despite my urgent need for the device and the inconvenience caused by the delay, Acer support was unwilling to offer any viable solutions. When I proposed the possibility of a device replacement, given their inability to repair my laptop in a timely manner, they flatly refused, leaving me with no recourse but to wait indefinitely for the repair to be completed!!

had a monitor with a screen defect, sent in with original box, they threw it away and shipped back with shitty packing, took 3 weeks round trip... defect fixed but now the monitor flickers when it didnt used to... now i get to send it back but with less ideal shipping materials... and now i probably get to wait another 3 weeks to get back. they made no attempt to speed up the shipping time to remedy the situation. it's costing me and them money for no good reason. I bet it'd be working if they send it back with the original box...and now there's an even bigger risk of damage cause it gets to make the 4000 mile round trip again! It will have traveled 1/3rd the distance around the globe by the end.

I bought a Swift 5 in September. In early December it crashed. The case was in new condition. Their technical support (overseas) advised me to send it to their repair center in Temple, Texas. Yesterday I received it with a scratched lid, and the body is warped so badly that it won't sit flat, and bounces when attempting to type. Their support department is not offering a solution of any kind. Apparently I sent it to them at my own risk. Horrible. I paid $1300 for a piece of junk!

Sent the 2 month old acer laptop here for repair of the malfunction keyboard. After repair, the keyboard works fine but they ruined the fingerprint recognition, now it is not working.

If you can't fix it then return brand new item. Why do you try so hard not to do your job?

Had my Acer Helios Predator 300 sent off due to it not booting into windows. Sending it off with Fedex took only 4 days to arrive, repair took about 5 days, and about 3 days to get back home. When it came back, I was met with a huge surprise. I only wanted them to fix the problem with my pc not booting, but they even replaced a missing key and cleaned off my laptop. Turns out I overloaded the hard drive. Great service as long as your device is under warranty. And for those saying Acer doesnt honor warranties, this wasn't the case. My laptop was under warranty and didn't charge a single penny. Only thing that was paid for was shipping with Fedex.

I'm just here to echo the sentiment that Acer doesn't honor warranties. They sold me a $1200 laptop with a defective GPU and despite me reporting the issue and them having documentation of the issue existing with the laptop from day one, they refused to honor it because I didn't have a chance to mail it until month 13 of owning it (I needed the laptop for work and school and it's the only one I had), using the excuse of the warranty period expiring, despite the issue happening WITHIN the warranty period. And I stress again they have documentation of it. Paid all this money for a "premium" product that was broken from day one. Never in my life has a company sold me a broken product then refused to replace it.Just a straight-up copout and lack of integrity. This company sucks, buy your products from anywhere else.
