Heinz is an absolute genius when it comes to foot health and appropriate shoes and orthotics. Five years ago I was facing the prospect of surgery and an extended period of time off my feet. Heinz crafted custom orthotics for me and suggested running shoes, casual shoes, and dress shoes that would accommodate the orthotics and that were right for my foot issues. I avoided surgery and am now walking totally pain-free! I cannot recommend Heinz and Arches in Temple, TX more highly.Today, I needed a pair of hiking boots that would give me the support I needed and be able to accommodate my orthotics. As usual, Heinz had just the perfect solution and I now have the best hiking boots I've ever owned. If you are having foot issues, give Heinz and Arches a try.

We were recommended to Arches my our pediatrician when my oldest daughter was in elementary school and starting to play basketball/trying to heal & prevent rolled ankles- both of our daughters were very athletic and involved in numerous sports throughout elementary, middle school & high school- anytime we had issues with feet/ankles we went to Hanz for recommendations. Fast-forward to college and our oldest daughters first half-marathon- during training her feet were going numb - once again we returned to Arches/Hanz and he did several tests, made recommendations & made her inserts for her shoes - PROBLEM SOLVED - she completed her first half-marathon!!I would recommend Arches to anyone of any change for any foot/feet/ankle/knee/leg/hip/walking/running concern!!! He works with ALL AGES!! Anyone I've recommended has been pleased with their recommendations and treatment just as we wereThey do stay pretty booked so don't expect a same day appt. Plan ahead.

omg I made 1 of the biggest mistakes of my (foot) life, I went to the Good Feet Store and paid way to much for some insoles that almost made me not be able to stand much less walk instead of going to ARCHES!!! I di not normally try to bash anyone or place but for what you pay for those insoles good feet store should be ashamed of theirselves... (I could go on & on about them) But instead after hardly being about to walk cause my feet hurt so bad I bit the bullet and went and told Arches what I had done, we went over my old insoles & evaluated my (ugly) feet, he said "I'm not doctor but I believe you have plantar fasciitis". They gave me information & stretchs to do to help it and some of the reasoning for getting it, but i truly believe its because of the insoles The Good Feet store sold me. After the evaluation then about 20-30 mins I walked out with brand new custom made insoles!!! I WILL NEVER GO ANYWHERE ELSE!!! SO DONT THINK ABOUT RETIREMENT ANYTIME SOON HEINZ!!!

Staff by knowledgeable,professional, and courteous people, went there for plantar fascia tear and fracture, they helped with the pain and got me walking again. Can't thank them enough for their care

Purchased a $140 pair of sandals on Sat. Put on Sunday, hurt bunion so took off immediately. As they are closed Sun. and Mon., I tried to return Tuesday. I found out NO RETURNS! I was never told this. A small sign is posted and on the receipt. Purchased Brooks for many years. They lost a customer today and also no referrals will be given. I feel every customer should be told NO RETURNS!!

Would have a been 5⭐if there was a follow up call inquiring how my shoes are working for me, how my custom arches are working for me. This was a very expensive visit.

I had a long standing case of plantar fasciitis and tried doctors and chiropractor and after several visits to Chiro, I asked what else I could do and he referred me to arches! This specialist took pictures of my arches, standing walking and looked at all my shoes and suggested arch support and put it in my shoes and sent me off. This corrected and healed my pain. Plantar fasciitis- go to arches!

I didn't even know this place existed until recently. For $40 you get a thorough exam of your feet. It has been forever since I've even had my feet measured by someone and this visit was way more than that! I learned things about my feet that I never knew. I even bought my first pair of Brooks tennis shoes right there. I loved the vibe, the music, and the no rush visit. There was absolutely no pressure to buy anything at all. Definitely a must especially if you are having issues with your feet.

This place is a hidden gem. Heinz is knowledgeable, helpful, and funny. Had a thorough exam and got me the right shoes and orthotics in less than an hour. Definitely recommended.
