We have been experiencing good care at this location. I love the wellness plan that includes a dental cleaning. My only critique is that appointments have been drop off only and I haven’t actually met the doctor. That’s what keeps this place from being 5 stars for me.

Just awful from a corporate standpoint. The people working here at the location are relatively professional, but their plans are impossible to get out of if you move/wish to no longer use. You’re better off using a local provider.

The staff are friendly and just as concerned about my pets health needs as I am.

Have had good service here in the past, but I guess they have gotten too busy now. Mr. Kitties just needed a general checkup & vaccinations but they said they only do drop off appointments now. Dropped off at 9:30am. Still hadn't heard anything (besides an upsell call) by 3pm so I drove back up there. They hadn't done anything yet and said probably another hour & a half. At 3:30 I decided I would just come back a different day but then they were magically done 10 minutes later. Side note: if you don't like crowds and traffic, you don't want to be here around 4-5pm. So they finally got done with my 9:30am appointment at 4pm. My 10 minute drive home (from my morning appointment) took 45 minutes with traffic. But I felt so bad for Mr. Kitties - an only cat, she hadn't really left the house in 5 years; and had to sit in her tiny carrier by herself in a strange place with strange animals everywhere for almost 7 hours. She was probably terrified. Starving, she was scarfing down food & treats as soon as we got home. She's still mad at me...

They were able to get my Brindel pit in the next morning after I called for an appointment for my 9 year old brindle pit when she started to limp. She has arthritis in her back right leg & it was inflamed. I was very worried because I had lost my other dog to cancer a few months before. They were able to give her something to ease the pain & to help with the inflammation. She is a lot better today.

My experience with Dr. Dutta was absolutely horrible. He wouldn’t look at me in the appointment and only would speak to my husband even though I was the one speaking to him. He got defensive when I asked questions and took everything so personal. One week before my dogs appointment with dr dutta a different vet at banfield had seen my dog and said his eye wasn’t healing like she expected it to and referred us to optho in Austin. Today during our check up with Dutta he said my dogs eye was 90% healed and i thought it was worth mentioning what the other vet said at banfield 6 days prior. He got irritated immediately and said I shouldn’t focused on the past because it doesn’t matter and asked me what it had to do with anything. I was completely shocked and told him there was nothing wrong with me mentioning that considering I was being told the opposite. He then became angry and started to stare at me. I felt completely unsafe with an unstable person standing in front of me silently staring at me and visibly angry. He turned toward my husband and asked only my husband if he had any questions and I said “I do. Will my dog have any vision loss from his eye injury?” And he got upset again at my question? I told him it was a valid question and why ask us if we have questions if he’s just gonna get angry that we ask? Never will I see that dr again. He’s unstable and has serious angry issues. Learn how to separate your frustrations from work and be professional. Highly disappointed. I actually considered switching to banfield as our primary vet care site because we’ve had great interactions with other vets but I truly never want to have an encounter with Dr. Dutta ever again.

Dr. Dutta could seem to care less about his pet patients. My lab has a history of pododermatitis, and had multiple lesions of his back paws that were draining pus. I pointed it out multiple times to the provider who ignored the issue until I had to ask directly what he planned to do to address the issue. The doctor tried telling me that I had the wrong diagnosis even though my pet has had this issue for three years now, been diagnosed by other vets, and previous tested positive for staph. I asked if he reviewed his relevant past medical history and relevant records (not every single record but the ones specific to this issue) to which the provider told me he only had 20 minutes to see my pets (I had 2 scheduled appointments for our 2 dogs), no time to review their records (we recently moved for military and I transferred our outside records as they requested) and asked me “what I wanted to make me leave”. I asked for the pus to be tested or to be given antibiotics as the history of staph is a serious concern with the same presentation. With our other dog (schnauzer) he had been seen 2 weeks earlier, diagnosed with a bacterial skin infection, antibiotics had not completely cleared it, the vet tech agreed he needed another round of stronger antibiotics, but instead, Dr. Dutta changed his diagnosis, said it was “dog skin acne”, that we are not bathing him enough, and gave a special shampoo. How can you say one visit he needs antibiotics and the next that we don’t bathe him enough…? I waited over an hour to see this doctor, who took multiple calls while in the room examining my pets and in the middle of speaking to me. Highly disrespectful and rude. Never once complained about the wait time but apparently 20 minutes is all my two dogs, for two visits, and a $600 bill get. Ridiculous. Very unprofessional, and seems to lack knowledge on how to care for animals. We will be finding a new vet. After many wonderful experiences with other Banfield’s in other states, we will be leaving.

$700 for a neuter??? Oh please. They want to do a full work-up pre-op drawing blood. What a cash grab. I'm sure there are other services are way overpriced. Also poor customer service.

Started our old chihuahua on the wellness plan here. The staff was incredibly sweet and helpful. Our dog was very comfortable with them. Was quick. Just added my new puppy on a plan there too.

Benfield is a nice and friendly animal hospital. Everyone are nice and helpful, especially Miranda, she has so much patience with all my questions! Thank you ? ?
