“This is a FANTASTIC place ! They do not preach at or to you, but they do inform you of services and events. IF you listen to them, do what they tell you to do, in the order they tell you to do it, in no time at all, you'll get set up in your own place...as long as you can stay sober while you're there. I was a resident there for several months. They got me state ID, SSI appointments, VA appointments, got my VA rating super quick, got housing approved quickly, found my appointment on my 4th call and 3 years later I'm still in my place. I KNEW what I wanted in my apartment (ac/heat, laundry hook ups, brick, 1 bedroom, pet allowed). My landlord is great.
My case worker was Miss Kim and she was simply fantastic.
I can't say enough positive things about this place.
I donate as much as I can to them, clothes, shoes, backpack, suitcases, kitchen wears. I've been known to make leather wallets and purses for ALL the residents there.”
