Great location away from the noise, and convenient to the hospital and college. Although currently undergoing renovation, this location is minimizing disruption to guests. Room was clean. Bathroom was in working order. My friends and I all had the same reaction; "Why is there no closet door?" I have an idea what the answer to that question is, but it is still STRANGE to have no closet door. Plenty of free parking. Away from the noise of freeways. Enjoyed our stay.

Second visit to this property. Believe it or not, the hotel is still being renovated OR maybe renovated again. I like what they did to the closets (without doors) mentioned in 2018. There is a handy storage tower with drawers and cubbies built into the closet. Bathtub caulking was worn, as was plumbing fixture in the tub. Some of the carpet was frayed, mattress is not very comfortable. One of things we found strange was having only one bedside lamp on one side of the bed. If there are two people sitting up reading, only one person has light. Makes NO SENSE! No alarm clock. Even if we all have cell phones, it is still nice to have a clock to check the time (especially in the middle of the night). Black-out shades are wonderful. Room was clean. Upholstered chair was clean and comfortable, as was the desk chair. Room was a good size.

Staff are prompt, courteous, and always friendly. Rooms are clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel.
Walkability: Lots of food options in walking distance.

This hotel has been the nicest I've stayed at in Temple. Quality rooms, cleaned very well, beds are great, staff is excellent. This is worth every cent.

Place is shady. I slept in my truck due to being told vehicles get broken into a lot after we checked in. I figured I would let my hubby sleep while I cuddled with my .40. I saw people driving around with their headlights off really slow. Wouldn't be a bad idea for them to get security.

Clean and hospitable as always. Hot tub was not usable on this trip. Otherwise they did a great job of attempting to recover from the tornado.
Being sensitive to black mold, I could definitely smell it in the hallways near the pool area. Stayed on second floor so it wasn't a horrible issue for me.

Well first off the price is ridiculous. We were told they offered free breakfast. Which they dont.nothing on the menu was dairy or gluten free. .the hot tb wasn't working. The lid to the coffee pit in the room was broken. The toilet ran all night due to ,u have to lift the toilet lid to flush the toilet.the bed was way too soft and they called me 3 times asking if I really needed my handicapped room..I did get the room thru their website which is considered a 3rd party. . Things were very different in person than what was advertised. They say the allow pets with a costly deposit. Even though it's a convenient location. The motel is not all that as it appeared on the website.

Safety: It was a fun night getting hit with a wind storm. But at least the EF 2 tornado touched down elsewhere in town.

If you hate taking a hot shower you will love hilton garden inn temple. The water doesn't get above luke warm.

The room was clean and a decent size with 2 queen beds. Room darkening curtains were very effective, and the air conditioning worked well (and quietly). Beds were lumpy, and I could not get comfortable. I tossed and turned most of the night and eventually switched to the other bed, but it was the same. The bathroom was roomy, and water pressure in the shower was good. Check-in was easy, and the front desk agent was very friendly and helpful!
