I’ve been coming to this store almost everyday for the past few months.My experience is mostly fish related.
Joel is always super helpful and very knowledgeable. Both Joel and Kylie are extremely nice and they show their passion and care in helping people. Their level of customer care is unmatched and that’s an understatement. The front desk guys and gals always ask pleasantly how my visit was and just have the nicest feelings to be around.
They have a great variety of fish , they always have something that will give you that “woaaahh” or “what the heck is that”. Everyone here is always nice. In my experience, people don’t mind waiting because they are getting what they want along with extra knowledge and questions answered.

This Petco had a nice variety of dog food to pick from in a pinch, since my dog’s shipment of typical meals has been delayed. I enjoyed the nice knowledgeable staff and it was a pleasant experience. Will be coming back again.

I went to go look at the fishes and immediately freaked out because there was a ROACH crawling up my arm. Disgusting. I’m not coming back here again. EW!

Amazing fish buying experience. Kylie literally sat with us for like 30 minutes to discuss choosing the right fish for our 2 year old. She was very knowledgeable and was the key reason to us choosing or new Betta fish. She was very friendly and nice and we really appreciate her taking time away from what she was doing to talk to us and walk us through this process. You can tell she really loves animals and that she enjoys educating people about them. Kimberly was great as well as she was the one who originally helped us pick out the tank when we first went a week ago. I did not catch the cashiers name, but she was very friendly as well. I would highly recommend going here as they are very friendly and help make the process super easy for you and the fish. We were even able to take our tank water in to get tested before bringing the fish home to ensure the water was safe for them to transition into. A special thank you to the ladies that assisted us today. I wish more stores had people like you who genuinely care and love what they do.

I’m super saddened and furious at the same time the first time I took my pup for a grooming. I brought her in at 8 AM and I came into the store at 2 PM. Had not heard anything from them, I started to worry when I got there at 2pm. They told me that they were giving my dog a break because she was not wanting to let the manager from the grooming salon groom her . There was no communication and she messed up her body left pieces of hair long and her face and head were not done and she had eye gunk so I know she didn’t get a bath. my dog was scared and crying as soon as I picked her up. She had my dog 6 hours and wasn’t not ready. I’m upset at how she didn’t talk to me nor call me and I had to go in the store and find out what was going on!! Never again will I take my baby here again this is horrible service.

I always buy my fish from your Temple store location, your staff do a great job in maintaining the fish tanks. The water is always crystal clear, and your live stock always look healthy! I feel confident that when I purchase from your store that I am receiving quality live stock. Great Job to your Live stock Staff in the the Temple store.

Do Not Trust This Dog Grooming Service – Terrible Experience!
I am beyond disappointed with this dog grooming service. I took my dog in for a grooming session, and what I experienced was appalling. Not only did they injure my dog during the grooming process, but they also left her untreated for HOURS. When I returned to pick her up, he was visibly hurt, and they made no effort to address the situation or offer any kind of apology.
What’s even worse is that when I contacted them to express my concerns, they refused to take responsibility for what had happened. The staff was completely indifferent to the injuries and left me feeling helpless. I trusted them to care for my dog, and instead, he was mistreated and neglected.
If you care about your pet’s well-being, do NOT bring them here. This place is unprofessional and reckless. My dog deserves better, and so does yours.

This is the pet store I always go to. They have a really good rewards program and will match the price on their website. The employees are always really helpful and kind.

Visit was unremarkable. The gurgling noise over the speakers in the fish section was kind of annoying. I found the dog food that I needed but I had to wait for a cashier to ring up the sale for a couple of minutes.
When I was asked if I would like to donate to an animal charity as part of my sale I said no and declined on the transaction pad. However, when I checked the receipt at home, I found that I was charged for a $2 donation. (Not cool)

I usually have a decent experience in this store, but whoever the woman is at the counter this evening on 28 January 2025, you got a problem. I asked her how she was going and she didn’t even acknowledge me or my friend. She was too busy on that damn phone texting or whatever. No greeting or “have a nice evening”
If you don’t wanna work, fine but you need to learn to show basic respect and courtesy to ALL customers or just stay at home if you can’t handle the job.

We were so thankful for PetCo tonight after having to surrender our beloved Koi fish we have raised since they were tiny babies. One was almost a foot long and the other four were beautiful mirror Koi. Due to unexpected circumstances our pond was no longer able to house them and we needed a place for our fish ASAP. We called the store and they were polite and told us to bring them in. The lady who helped us upon our arrival was very nice unfortunately I did not get her name. We greatly appreciate PetCo for taking them in and hope they find good homes.

The workers here will listen if you show them something is wrong. Have had great conversations with them and for a Petco its pretty decent. It's worth checking out with some employees who seem to truly care and do research.
