After cancelling my appointment a head of time for grooming using the app, I was blocked from making appointments. I did not know why. I made a new account and made appointment for the bath and teeth cleaning. I asked the front desk if cancelling caused me to be blocked. The lady said no canceling isn’t a big deal it’s when you no show. She then said she doesn’t know why I was blocked. Another lady came out of the back and made no eye contact, she then looked at molly and said that’s not a small dog to the other lady still not making eye contact with me. Molly is 10 pounds I told her. On the app it says X-Small is 1-10 pounds. She then says we go by the size of the dog I didn’t argue with her. I dropped Molly off at 9:58 and I was t they would call. I figured it would be quick so I came back at 10:15 to buy something in store. I saw the lady that was supposed to be washing Molly eating chips near grooming station. This was about 10:30. I called at 10:38 to get a time when Molly would be done. Misti says she is drying and will call when she is done. It’s now 1130 and I haven’t gotten a call back. If she was drying at 1030 she should be done by now. I finally called at 11:58 and asked if she was done. Misti said she was done awhile ago & they called me but the phone rang and then made a click noise. I never had a missed call. Mollys skin is very red after picking her up. She has dry skin flaking. Maybe they used high heat to dry her. Using my phone to type this so excuse the grammar.

Be very careful with herps- some of the juvenile beardies have classic atadenovirus (ADV) symptoms and are wasting/already dead in the tanks. Unfortunately, they are in with healthy juveniles which will almost certainly contract the virus. This is EXTREMELY contagious so do not handle these and then touch healthy herps. These little guys are still posted for sale so people many unknowingly find themselves in a lot of trouble with an ADV outbreak.

I spoke to an employee yesterday and was quoted a entry price of price of $24. After it was all said and done for a basic bath today they charged me $45. They asked for a tip, and I said I had to see the work that was done before I added a tip. They said it was policy not to show the dog until after the purchase was done. After all they said, didn't you just order the basic bath? It seemed that every interaction that I had with both ladies was negative. It seems common courtesy to me to show the customer the dog before a tip happens. I don't remember what the employee's name was, but she had a nose ring. Very unfriendly customer service. Levi, the groomer - did an acceptable job, but not worth the price of $45 for a bath only.

The lady who trimmed and buffed our fur baby's nails was so caring and patient with her. She took her time so our little girl won't get traumatized because it was her first time to do this.

Just a psa, if you order repeat delivery from here. Ask them not to use doordash. Girl comes to my door talking about "oh usually the customer tips"... how was I supposed to know it was going to be run through doordash? Smh!!

For grooming I would not recommend. This was my second time comming and they did my poor baby wrong. I believe the groomer for this appointment was Chelsea. Not to mention her and this other coworkers (didn’t. Get a chance to get her name) were rude before I even checked my baby in. It felt as if they didn’t not want my business. She sorta yelled at me in front of other people who were dropping off their dogs.and it was embarrassing. And the only reason I came back a second time was bc of all the availability. I can see why now. I will never get my dog groomed there again. I should’ve listened when everyone said to go to PetSmart.But for the store , I have to say there was a gentlemen there named damion ( forgive me if I spelled wrong) was super. He was so kind and attentive and is the only reason why I would go back to buy from Petco. Hes amazing.

Petco is the worst place to get your dog groomed. PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY AND JUST GOT TI PERSMART. This was my second Time trying to give them another chance. And also bc they had many available slots opened. but I can see why now. and i think her name is Chelsea but DO NOT GET HER. She did my poor baby wrong. I should listened when everybody and their mommas told me to not go to Petco.

Damion was so patient and polite. He assisted the children in holding the animals, and knew which animals were too irritated to hold. It was very obvious that he loved his job and cared equally for the animals and humans. He made our visit most enjoyable. Now the kids have decided to save their allowance for their future pets of choice... fish, salamander, snake, and gerbil. ?
