I went in to buy a Halloween outfit. Part of it involved a skirt. They didn’t have the original color I wanted so I got another color before going to look at a couple other stores. I found something better and came back to spirit Halloween within 45 minutes to return the skirt that was $20 and they said I could only exchange. So I wasted $20.

Walked around the mall to make sure the store wasn’t setup at another location; wasn’t there at all. Off to the next one.

They've had more costume pieces than what I've seen at other locations. My son and I like daftpunk pieces and this location had more of a variety. Staff was friendly and helpful. They had quite a few motion and pressure triggered mechatronic statues to help scare the little ones :P Nice place to get makeup and other accessories to spice up you yard and costumes for the holiday.

My costume had a big tan-ish stain in the back of it and the fake blood I bought was opened when I bought, also everything is more expensive then I thought.

Opening day, Halloween items to choose from. Door mat, posable dummy prop, mash, makeup, costumes and lights for Decorating .I believe popular items sold out the first week. For 16 days and counting. I have stop by S.H store for new or restock Halloween decorations ? empty space /shelves. No restock of new items. I had to travel to Temple and Killeen Store to find halloween yard items ?? I'm still hoping are local spirit halloween store receives truck of items before halloween ??❤ I stop this evening by our Waco, Spirit halloween store. They finally have new items for Halloween ? 10-13-21 added new photos of what we purchased ❤

i was debating if i should even put any stars. the one star i put goes to their inventory. but i wouldn't give the employees any stars. they are rude and quick to shooe you away. bad attitudes from the ladies there, and they are unwilling to work with you or help you. i would've thought they would be in good spirits when they actually do work since it is seasonal but nope. also, they should mention at checkout when the last day to return something is because im now stuck with a bodysuit that does not match my costume. both times i've went there, i have not enjoyed my visit AT ALL.

Worth a look. Found some factory floor posters I'd never seen at Spirit. Unfortunately, all Spirit locations have been stocking a lot of the same merchandise since the last pre-covid Halloween. Cool franchise/pop-up idea in general, specific location has a little less stock/variety than bigger city locations and some of the "cool" in-demand stock they do have appears to have disappeared fast.

I arrived 15 to 17 minutes prior to closing (10pm) and the doors were locked already ( i double checked dates and times). I js need to grab something real quick. Thankfully party city is js across the way and also closes at 10:00PM so i went there instead. I like that it has a variety of costumes, but wish more decor was sold there. Its alright.

spirit Halloween is decent. long story short, expect there to be quite a few costumes and stuff, but all priced expensively. The store is a lot of fun with a bunch of active demos for everyone to enjoy. the workers are helpful and usually knowledgeable. Also this one was located in the mall, so the location and parking are good. Only three stars because it is expensive and although their selection is more vast than a place like target/walmart, we felt they should have more unique costumes (considering they are a halloween store). We couldn't even find decent woody and buzz light-year costumes here....

Whereas the setup of the store was great and the staff were friendly it quickly became clear that I was in the wrong place to get a costume to actually fit me. I wanted something tastful that fit me so my needs were simple when I walked in. After spending 45 minutes in the store I started to realize that Spirit of Halloween has a skewed view on the actual size of their customers. If you were not a size 4-6 or 10-14 there was almost nothing to fit. My friend could not find a anything to fit her size 0-2 frame unless she went into the children's section and the only thing they had in my size 18 was a pancho that looked like a spider web. The more I walked through this store the more upset I got. I ended up having a full on anxiety attack that ended in tears because I felt like this store was telling me that I needed to cover up my weight since the only thing it offered was a pancho. The options in this store made it very clear that "sexy" or " risqué" were the main them in the afult section. Even IF I would have found something in my size I never would have been able to wear it to a school dance because it would have been too risqué for the venue. I think the owners of the company might need to rethink what they sell and who their target market is because they are leaving out a whole group of people. As for myself, I will NEVER step foot inside a Spirit of Halloween store again.
