Gym equipment and staff are great. It looks that city support for maintenance of outside facilities is lacking! Pickleball courts could be great is if the city or a private entity provides for maintenance. The nets need to be replaced with a good quality type. There are too many lights that are not working and makes play very hard at night and is a safety risk. This facility can very easily be a five-star rating if maintenance (city support) improves. Somebody needs to take action in order for this to happen.

My family used to come to summit all the time. We have some great memories there. But they just aren't keeping the place up. They just shut down the movie room. We could workout and watch an old movie. It was a great concept and was usually pretty full. The hot tub is repeatedly out of order. Some of the workout equipment have been broken for months. The showers are probably 40 years old, small and rarely clean. The toilet sprays water on you while you're using it. The rock climbing wall, for the kids, has not been open in the last 12 plus years. I counted 10 people in the whole place at 4:30 in the afternoon. If they're trying to make money off the classes, ok. But what about the rest of the clientele? There are 4 empty rooms that are never used. I've only seen one rack of ball court used occasionally. And the outside facilities are rarely used also. Last summer, they didn't even hire very many lifeguards (about 3) because no one was coming to use the pool. They just aren't using the facilities well and keeping up with the maintenance. It makes me very sad to see what they've let this place become.

Love this gym, girls are great at front desk. I would highly recommend this gym. Lots of equipment, jacuzzi and nice sauna.

This is Temple's best kept secret. You don't have to be a member to go to the fitness classes. You can pay a $5 drop-in fee or buy a 15 class punch card for $45 ($30 for members). The first class is always free and I've enjoyed all that I've tried. The Hatha yoga class is great. TRX and boot camp really kick my butt. And the Refit class with Jana is always a mood uplifter :) If you want to try the spin class call ahead to reserve your spot or you won't get a bike.

My boys took swim lessons during the summer and I have to say we will definitely be back for level 3.Drew was there instructor and he was very knowledgeable and good with the kids. He always had his eyes on them making sure they were safe. There were only 5 kids in the class so each child had enough time individually with the instructor. For the price and location it was a perfect class to get my boys comfortable with the water and learn a few skills also.

Summit is a GREAT place to workout! The atmosphere is really comfortable unlike other gyms in the area, so men and women can workout together without feeling uncomfortable with each other. Plenty of classes, weights, cardio equipment, and more all under one roof. The rates are EXTREMELY affordable, so there's a way for everyone to enjoy it. The staff are extremely friendly, and there is also childcare available as well. Don't forget about this gym when shopping for a workout facility!
