“Update to my previous review The Good: parking is ample. Personel were very friendly. Difference? Without putting finger, perhaps the age of the people at the cafe. Today there were older people tending the cafe. While the other day they were younger with the personality of a fire hydrant. Today pizza choices were very abundant. The employees were on top of things. Pizza was piping hot. The Bad. The exit lines were long, but rolling. The Ugly: N/a”
“I was driving through Temple and my tire light came on. I got off the highway and went to discount tire (2.5 hr wait so no) then went to another shop on 31st St but the man there was so rude, miserable and upset bc I refused to buy one of his old cheap tires. I told him no thanks, then went to another small tire shop down the road on MW Ave called Lupe’s Tire Shop. There I met Octavio. He was patient, kind and he repaired my tire correctly and safely. I was very clear with him - this is the tire that’s lit up as low, I do not want to buy an older used tire, how much will it cost me to fix it and will it need to be balance again? He was very clear, then we agreed on his price and the tire was repaired. Let me tell you, it was pouring rain the entire time he was taking care of me. What a great customer service experience Octavio gave me. Thank you Octavio! I would highly recommend this place for fair hard working customer service!!!”
“Huge shout out to these folks. They changed a flat for my wife on the side of the road in Temple. She recently had surgery so couldn't do it on her own. She went back to their shop to replace the tire. She was in and out in now time, and prices were very reasonable. Everyone was very nice and polite. Turn over rate is crazy new guy every time so I started taking my fleet of sprinter buses ,trailers, personal vehicles one hour away for complete tire swaps and big expenses and leave simple trailer tire swaps to McGuire tire.

The guy I spoke to was very informative and friendly. He really didn't have to be and could've sent me away with no answers but he helped me. “I have seen mixed reviews, but let me just say…….. I was traveling during the night, at 4 am I had a blowout while on my way to a 9 am appointment. Only having a donut tire to drive on and still having 4 more hours to drive, I had myself a problem. I did a search not expecting to find any real solution and New Pools Tires came up as 24 hours with directions showing they were just 10 miles from where I was, couldn’t believe it! I called and someone actually answered, Unheard of! It was a little difficult to understand him, he has an accent. He took the tire size and said he would be at the shop waiting for me to arrive. I pulled up and it was dark, but as soon as I got there, he came out and turned on lights. He assessed and quickly got to work knowing my time predicament. Sarfraz was very polite and accommodating and accepted my credit card for payment. I am thankful God was with me and presented the solution I was in need of. I am also thankful someone is willing to work during the night, being available 24 hours and who actually answered the phone. I was able to get a new tire at 5 am while traveling, still can’t believe it! I made it just in time for my appointment. Thank you again Sarfraz!”
“Traveling 5 hours on a Sunday. Tire sidewall got sliced. Was able to find online that the right size of tire was available at a store opening shortly along my route. We arrived just at opening and the store was able to install the new tire in less than an hour. Appreciate that we could plan using the website for tire availability and am grateful that the store fit a traveling customer in.”
