Petco is the worst place to get your dog groomed. PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY AND JUST GOT TI PERSMART. This was my second Time trying to give them another chance. And also bc they had many available slots opened. but I can see why now. and i think her name is Chelsea but DO NOT GET HER. She did my poor baby wrong. I should listened when everybody and their mommas told me to not go to Petco.

Went here to get a few treats for my puppies. Got what I need but there is no one working so you can't ask for assistance with anything. Went to check out and they now charge for the plastic bags. If I would have known, I could have brought a reusable bag BUT surprise. Not happy because I had two other stores to go to and no place to put what I bought, in the car would have been too hot.

Rude and dismissive front desk person. Made me anxious which made my dog anxious. Made no effort to work with my dog who is an anxious pup, but is used to grooming. The other groomer did try to approach my dog, but I explained she is not great while I'm still present. My dog nipped which I'm sorry about and made her unable to be groomed, but I think if they had a better attitude about the whole thing, it probably wouldn't have gone down that way.

I always come here for my dads cat food and my dog food since it's next to his apartment and I finally Told him today, never again lol: they never have the nutro wet food or any grooming tools that i can find anyways.. The blades rack is empty every time and they always say they will get more in but it's been months. The grooming section is always piled with boxes so I can never get over there easily and the staff is never available. On one occasion I can hear them yelling back and fourth to each other complaining about the work environment. So that was super tacky. Not to mention the mess the store always is. The bathroom was awful. Smelled like pee to the max. I usually buy my tools on Amazon but I didn't want to wait for delivery so I checked this store. They do grooming there so why wouldn't they have the tools available? Idk. Just tacky store and the employees are just as bad. Sorry y'all: I'll continue to go to either pet smart or online. But this needed to be addressed.

Got my dog groomed here, the lady had an attitude, charged me for "matting" my dog is an inside dog and gets baths and brushed in between grooms, there was no matting. The groom was horrible as well, some parts are all the way to the skin and other parts are longer. They had my dog for five hours and we got an attitude, overpriced and a cut that looked rushed. Definitely won't be returning.

I was very put off by their on staff dog trainer. I recently brought my rescue dog into the store to buy a new Gentle Leader. He is a GSD/Rott mix so very strong smelling skills, very distracting. This collar keeps him from just dragging his nose across the ground. I know how to use this tool because I myself am a dog trainer. Now I know my dog and he is very alert to the energy people put out, the moment we walked into that area he became very alert. I quickly notice the dog trainer trying to make very strong eye contact towards my dog in a manner that only he didn't like but I myself didn't feel comfortable with. Now having been through many of the same courses as this trainer i couldn't understand why she felt trying to hold eye contact with a dog she has not had any interaction with from across the store was a helpful thing but it made him very uneasy. So quickly realizing this was not where he wanted to be I grabbed my items and calmly made my way to the register, where said trainer followed us to. She then said she noticed he wouldn't hold eye contact with her earlier, which I'm sorry but I don't even like strong eye contact so please don't expect him to, and usually he does with most people. We call it "Look at Me" and it's in a happy manner not dominating as hers felt. My real complaint here is that as a professional she should know how to read a dog's energy and respond in a manner that is to help the dog and leave it with a good feeling when it's leaving.

Please save yourself time and energy and just go somewhere else. Rude, unprofessional, lazy staff, I wouldn't trust them with anything, much less my pup! I wish I could review their actual work ethic and quality, but we didn't even make it to the actual hair cut part! The groomer I was assigned to decided to leave and didn't even bother telling the rest of her clients that she canceled the rest of her appointments for the day, and apparently everyone else was completely booked, but not a single dog or customer in sight. There's not a single professional aspect of this business.

Really disgusting poorly managed store. Aquatics is a total mess, reptiles are grossly taken care of and small animals look like they're all infested with ringworm. Not only is there poor animal care, the place is dirty and filled with dust and cobwebs. The management is extremely rude. I overheard supposed general manager call one of her employees "f'ing retarded".... seriously?? The supposed animal specialist is a bigger old women that is extremely rude and doesn't know much. Seriously do not listen to anything these people have to say. Google is better.

Well to start off!! I am not a cat person usually, but when I was getting off work one night this little kitten jumped on the back of my pants and so I sat down and she was all over me. So I thought okay I'll take her home tonight since it's late and then in the morning I'll find a home for her!! I already adopted a puppy a few months ago. So I was like how's this going to go?? Riley, my little puppy absolutely adores Her. Well 3 weeks later I'm a cat person after all. Who knew!! so on with the review for Petco!!My favorite guy is a cat person!! He surprised me with a awesome $100.00 gift card for my sweet kitty, Gypsy! Petco absolutely has everything a person needs to welcome home a new kitten, cat, puppy or dog. They had a wonderful clearance bin with so many awesome toys, treats and collars. Then I went all over the store looking around. Everything was very organized and clean. I went to the cat aisle and I was like wow! They had everything I needed to get set up for my kitten. Toys, cat nip filled toys, collars, harnesses, leashes, scratch pads, many different litter boxes, rubber mats for stepping out of the cat litter box and specialty foods. My guy has this very awesome litter box. The first time I visited his house I didn't even know he had a litter box! I bought the same litter box. It's a Tidy Cat Breeze with pellets and pads. If you haven't tried this litter box you should. I just couldn't do the traditional kitty litter. It felt so dirty all the time. The Breeze is so clean and neat. It was worth every penny! I had a $100 gift card and I was able to get everything I needed for my new kitten. The prices at Petco are very reasonable!

I'm a rewards customer there so I shop there quit frequently for my dog. I have a newborn soon and my husbands deployed so I have been relying on the curbside since it's more hassle to take car seat out and all that but lately I get attitude from some employee there when she brings it out to me. My car is literally parked right by the entrance so she's not even going far. Makes me want to go shop at pet smart instead.

Such rude management. And Rude employees. Will never be going here again. Customer service means NOTHING to them. They have 1 groomer who can't even do her job correctly. I had called multiple times to get ahold of the manager and she's never there. Finally I reach her, and she starts out SO DEFENSIVE. I was calm and respectful and wanted to address the problem, she wanted nothing to do with it. She had offered to re-wash my dogs and try again since they couldn't get my dog to stay on the table(never had this issue with past groomers) but they were going to charge me full price for it. Our dogs have been to pet co grooming multiple times and we have never had an issue, once our normal groomer had quit petco we tried it once more with the only groomer they had and they couldn't get the job done. Will not be spending a dime here. Absolutely ridiculous. I cannot get over how rude the manger was.
