What a great place! Not only are you seeing and experiencing history in the making, you have a rich choice of gifts to choose from to take back home to friends and family...coffee from the region, textiles, rocks, precious stones, antiques, etc. Be prepared to spend some time here!!!

Cool gifts, cold drinks and interesting books! Great for a vacation pitstop or hang around and have dinner and drinks next door.

I give 2 stars because it is the only lively place within a radius of so many miles. Dearest, no big deal, they absolutely don't deserve all these miles to reach it.

There a plenty fun things to do and to look at but do not buy the silver and gold from the gift shop because a lot of it is fake

The store has two old furnace one on each side of the building that does not have any signs labeled hot or caution. my 4 yr old granddaughter had leaned on it and burned the side of her hand. the manager put a cream on it to help the burn. He know what to do it must have happen before. l was annoyed and said if your going to have an old antique furance running you should either barricade it so that no one else can touch it or at least put up signs saying caution hot.

Browsing thru the trading post, checking out new merchandise and relaxing out on the porch with dogs, musicians and travelers is always a good thing.

The best "front porch" in the history of ever. Nothing like buying a cold beer and sitting down to take in the vast expanse of the Chisos, Cerro Castalon, Mule Ears Peak, and the Christmas Mountains.Too bad Dr Doug passed away in 2017 he was the King of Terlingua on his throne on the Front Porch drinking Lone Stars. The Trading Post in my favorite store in Texas period. I never come this far without walking in here! The Front Porch is featured in my book "TEXAS BADLANDS: The Ultimate Black and White Journey" (available on Amazon) in Chapter 3 "Living Ghost Town."

Terlingua Ghost Town is a place stuck in time! They have a gift shop where you can buy lots of souvenirs and a small history museum. However, the main atraction is the ruins of what used to be one of the first towns in the old western USA. You can even play an old game with horseshoes cowboys and gunslingers used to play, i know it thanks to "Red Dead Redemption" a western based videogame mimicking those old good times!!

Nice gift/souvenir shop in the heart of Ghost Town. We picked up some nice things at reasonable prices. There are some special items priced well, too. It's a bit crowded, but that's part of the fun.

Sooooo much to see here. If you are looking for West Texas souvenirs, this is the place to get it. One large room full of goodies and knick-nacks, and several small rooms for shirts, Christmas, jewelry and books. Fun store to visit and take a break in the AC from the Terlingua sun, but be sure to try the complementary coffee. its delicious! Staff is also amazing.
