Motel 6 in Terrell, TX, offers a budget-friendly option for travelers, particularly those on extended stays or working in the area. Guests appreciate the clean and fresh rooms, noting a lack of the typical motel odor. The friendly staff and involved owner enhance the experience, providing helpful service. However, some guests have expressed concerns about the cleaning service, particularly regarding towel changes and the overall cleanliness of certain items. While the motel provides essential amenities, such as a good water pressure shower and proximity to dining options like Waffle House and IHOP, some rooms are in need of updates. Issues like poor lighting, outdated decor, and maintenance problems with appliances have been highlighted. Additionally, guests have reported inconsistent Wi-Fi service and pricing for vending machine items. Despite these drawbacks, many find the location convenient, with easy access to local attractions, and the affordability makes it an acceptable choice for a short stay. Overall, Motel 6 Terrell serves as a decent, no-frills option for budget-conscious travelers looking for a simple place to rest.
Location was very convenient Right there on interstate 20 Plenty of places for dinner Maids were very good and made sure you had plenty of towels and clean sheets. I stayed 2 weeks working in the area. The price was very reasonable and I would stay there again if I’m in the area

I like the old pictures, not the new paint. The floors seem dirty, not sure what they mop with. Middle of May pool not open!

The room was clean and checking in was easy. The location is right off the interstate tucked away on a service road.
