Had channels I didn't want and no channels I wanted. Charging me for a land line which I don't have. Called several times to correct and cancel my service and I talked to 5 different people same call and still don't have issues fixed. Worst cable service I've ever had. Poor customer service.

We called optimum spoke with a representative who we agreed on a certain plan. After 3 additional calls because we never received the email with the details that was finally fixed. After receiving the email what we had been signed up for was completely different than what we agreed. Now after 3 hours on the phone with optimum they finally got it corrected. Scheduled for a service technician to be at our house between 8am-11am on Wednesday 10/8/25. I took off work for this… received a confirmation email that morning that a technician would arrive that day to install. At 12:45pm we received a call stating they did not have a technician to send to our home and 20 days later they could send someone. After 3 more hours on the phone with them and arguing to cancel the services we would find someone else. They said they had cancelled but we wouldn’t receive a cancellation email for 5 business days. Now today 10/10/25 there is a strange man walking around my yard. Then rings my doorbell to tell me he was sent by optimum to install our internet services we signed up for with them. He was sent away and told we had cancelled and we do not need their service. This is the worst company. I would never use them nor recommend them to anyone after this experience.

Not for the Terrell location unless they responsible for sending technicians out to Forney houses. But anyways Optimum has to be probably the worst Internet service providers out there, we have been without internet since Saturday 10/4 and they have sent out 2 people who have been of no help. We are still without internet and they can’t send anyone until 10/12 to address issues on their end. An employee came out today(10/9) and said a field supervisor would contact us and we have yet to receive anything. And that employee has yet left us still without internet. As someone who works with homeowners everyday i could/would never leave them so displeased and frustrated with service like this. When you call the number listed under this address they are also of no help and can only say it’s on the outside and try to do troubleshooting that you have already attempted. If i could leave a 0 star review i would cause this is completely unacceptable. I get employees might be busy but at the end of the day as someone who works on peoples houses i would always make sure they are taken care of and not treated like this. Absolutely terrible company and would not recommend to anyone, shop elsewhere for internet/cable/phone.

If your looking for internet from the 1980's then this is for you . Only switched from at&t because they weren't available when we moved .Upon switching to optimum we signed up with the same plan we had with at&t(had 0 issues with them ever) also same price $59 a month .The internet constantly disconnects ,buffers constantly we even bought a wifi extender thinking it would help but it didn't.Everytime I test the connection it says its fine ,however the 1976 picture quality on my lg t.v and buffering tells me its not fine 🤣 Thankfully At&t has began running the fiber optic lines and I cant wait to switch back. Hopefully you can do better Optimum and figure out the kinks to get your internet up to par with other providers .

This is not about a particular store, but about the company. It took three days for me to get internet service cancelled. We had internet service installed and on the same day of the install the Internet went out two different times. I called that same day to get the service canceled. I was told that it couldn’t be done that day that they couldn’t find my account information to cancel it. I spoke to them again on the day after installation and after about an hour on the phone, asked them to please call me back because I needed to do something for my family. I did not receive a follow up call to my knowledge. Today I called again. I was on the phone for over one hour before I finally was told that my service was canceled. This was after I told them about 30 times or more that I wanted the service canceled. They came up with all kinds of different offers, but that is not what I asked for. I asked for the service to be canceled because it was not reliable for me. I spent over three hours on the phone in total just to cancel a service that did not work for me. I would never recommend this company in good conscience knowing that they do not listen when a customer calls in to what the customer is actually requesting.

I have had problems with Optimum TV and Internet for a long time. They finally came out and replaced the the intire line.
I am still paying way to much.
$220 dollars for TV and Internet.
I am looking to replace them, but there is only one other company in my area AT&T.
I will call them Tuesday Tuesday.
You know Optimum used to be Sudden Link (Sudden Stink).

This is the worst internet I have ever experienced. We have lived at our current home 4 months and our internet has gone out no less than ten times. This is the the third weekend in a row it has been down. With so many using streaming services and work from home internet is vital. We settled in AGAIN for a evening of shows and once again it is down and will be for 10-12 hours. I receive text it will get resolved (normally within 3-4 hours) and inevitably another is received the technician is still working on it with no ETA. The customer service is terrible and obviously they are reading from a script. We can never receive answers. The internet options in my area are very limited or I would gladly cancel. If I had the ability to give a negative number I would. I hope we do not have issues during upcoming football season but not holding my breath.
