Horrible service by Amber at the Petco in Terrell. I picked up my dog and noticed her face and ears were wet. Asked why so and the response I got was “we are about to close”!? If you can’t do your Job completely and properly why even book the dog?

As a foster Mom for an area rescue and a Mom of my own ? kiddos I am happy our town has a Petco. I have been pleased with the bathing services, food selection and especially the toys my ? kids love!

Called ahead to see if they were getting some rats in stock and when they said yea, I came over right away. Upon showing up, they didn't actually have any and the only guy that was forced to help me was no help. Instead of leaving empty handed, I wanted fish! But the same curly haired dope said "idk what fish that is so I can't sell it to you." And stared at the tanks in confusion. Plz fire your inexperienced employees.

Awesome place. Petco shampoo for dogs or for a small fee you can shampoo your dog at the do it your self pet spa.
Plus Vetco vets on site.

I've never been to Petco. I know it's strange, but it's true. I've always frequented PetSmart, and now I know why. I went there today to purchase some items. Everything was fine until I went to check out. The cashier asked if I had a card. I said no and that I didn't want to apply for one. The cashier rudely informed me that I would have to pay full price for everything since I didn't want to apply. I put some items back but purchased what I came for. They then asked if I would like a receipt, and I shook my head yes as they wrre looking at me. I didn't want to speak after the way I was treated because I didn't have anything nice to say, and you know the rest. I waited for my receipt, and they responded with, "Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't hear you say yes." Henry, you are passive-aggressive and condescending. Learn some actual people skills, PLEASE!!!
At PetSmart, they will scan a store card for you to get the discount. I was honestly just trying out the store, but I'll continue to frequent PetSmart.

I have historically had a good experience the two times I took my dog here. He’s gotten groomed by Jess each time. Today I took him and when I got home, I noticed his face was dirty and he still had poop in his butt. I called Jess to ask if maybe he pooped after to grooming and she said she didn’t know. I told her his face was still dirty and there was poop in his butt. She said nothing. I said I wanted to let you know and she said alrighty then, bye. So unprofessional. Not a word about bringing him back up there so she could fix it or anything. I’m so upset by this.

EVERYTHING IS SO OVERPRICED, I will be ordering online from now on for ⅓ of what Petco charges. Amazing how much they went up on everything in that store.

applied for a part time job here and got a call to schedule a interview but missed the call because i was at my current job but immediately called them back once i was off a the guy manager told me to call back the next day because the hiring manager was already gone for the day(which was no problem)
so the next day i had off and called at the time he told me to try to call and she was doing interviews all throughout the day and i ended up calling once and hour for 7 hours and each time the guy told me to call back because she wasn't available. so the next day i did that again 2 more times and i eventually was like "could you please just let Jessica know i called and to call me back once she is free" and the guy manager literally said "no I'm busy"
a few days later i called again just to find out Jessica was now on vacation and they had hired other people for the position.
the whole thing was very unprofessional and management needs to work on a communication skills.

Great store, just a little on the small side, but location great parking was easy, and the big part staff was knowledgeable and very helpful. Only reason not 5 stars is because I was personally looking for fish tank supplies and the small selection didn't have what I needed and the small fish selection didn't peak my personal interest... other than that I will definitely be going there for pet needs, because even though it's a smaller store the staff makes that 8 mile drive worth it

Only been here twice. The store itself is fine. But I literally just left from there and what a way to make customers feel awkward/uncomfortable. I was in line and the kid in front of me was waiting for his mom to get there and he let the cashier (short black/brown hair) know. All fine right. No. She then proceeds to say pretty loudly “that’s ok, there are multiple registers open, everyone can wait” - I’m the only one in line. i went ahead and made the assumption she was just trying to make the kid comfortable. But then she proceeds to say it a second time. So at this point I’m uncomfortable there. I haven’t said anything, didn’t give no stank eye, I was chillin looking at the stuff around me. So just to give tips at better customer service. Tell your customer you will wait for them and if you want to add to that kindly tell the other customer waiting “mam or sir, we will be with you shortly” if even necessary cuz like I said I was chillin.
