We stayed 2 times, 2 weeks apart.
Rooms are small but clean and modern.
Breakfast was good.
Price was very reasonable, our guest stay was 2 queen beds for 116 and 2nd stay was 120 for a king.
It's pet friendly for a small fee. No fee for service dogs. Lots of nice clean grass for pups.
Our only complaint was not the hotel fault, but other guests slamming doors at 1am and allowing kids to run the hall.

I’ve stayed at Tru hotels a couple of times, and both were very good experiences. The facility is clean and managed very well. The desk clerk was friendly, attentive, and answered all of my questions. He even provided information about my stay before I asked for it! The room was in great condition and had all of the usual comforts; the bed was one of the nicest I have had in a hotel. The free breakfast was also excellent—hot and cold cereal, toast, scrambled eggs, pancakes, fruit, and juice and coffee to drink. The hot food was hot and the cold food was cold, as they should be.
My one issue was the outdoor pool. The pool itself was nice and clearly was taken care of regularly. However, my key card did not work in the entrance gate; fortunately, a guest was leaving the pool and let me in. He said the gate lock was broken. Then, when I left the pool, my keycard didn’t work in the hotel entrance door; I had to walk around to the front of the hotel to get in. I told the desk clerk, and she acknowledged the problem. I suggested a sign to warn people until the lock is fixed. It’s a small thing (in an otherwise excellent stay), and I expect it’s a temporary one.

Room was a little small for my taste but it had a big bed and was very clean! The front desk clerk was awesome. Lots of handicap parking. Which is great for my wife going through chemo, she gets winded easily. My wife made the booking but overall I was very satisfied! Great breakfast and no loud neighbors 👌 will stay here in the future when I come to see my family again

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Tru by Hilton Terrell was the highlight of our road trip!
Tru by Hilton truly came to the rescue when we needed a pet-friendly place to stay during our cross-country trip. Cedric Price went above and beyond to help us find the perfect room for our stay with our dog. He was incredibly kind and professional—not just with us, but with everyone. I watched him graciously assist a group of guests who were upset that they missed the breakfast buffet. Even though they weren't exactly kind to him, Cedric patiently offered to go in the back and bring them some juice and muffins. That kind of kindness and hospitality really stood out.
Out of the eight hotels we stayed at on our trip, this one was by far our favorite. The rooms had a smart, open design, were spotlessly clean, and the beds were super comfortable. I especially appreciated the full-sized bottles of soap, lotion, and shampoo in the bathroom—they smelled like lemon sugar and were so much nicer than those tiny, slimy bar soaps you usually get!
The whole atmosphere of the hotel was calm, quiet, and welcoming. And honestly, what’s not to love about an automatic pancake maker? 😂 BONUS, this hotel is conveniently located by Buc-ees.

I have rare Lifetime Diamond Status with my Hilton Honors account. Needless to say I travel a lot. We visited extended family over Memorial Day weekend and stayed here two nights. The room was very clean and functional. Cedric, the Front Office Manager, was extremely nice at check in and any time he saw us he checked on us. There are a lot of dining and shopping options close by. We will definitely stay there again.

I love tru hotels. The rooms are small, but they've got everything you need. Very efficient. Stayed back in January of 2024 for work. Will stay again if I'm ever back in the area.
