CHRISTUS St. Michael Hospital receives mixed reviews highlighting both positive care and areas for concern. Many patients report excellent, caring, and thorough doctors who explain everything perfectly. Positive experiences are frequently noted in specific departments, including Labor and Delivery, where nurses often go above and beyond, are patient, and help follow birth plans. The emergency room, however, is described as always packed, with patients needing faster care. While one ER experience involved a long wait, another patient in severe crisis found the ER and surgical staff to be sympathetic, friendly, and very caring, with nice and fabulous nurses on the recovery, CCU, and patient floors. Other supportive staff, including ultrasound technicians and a chaplain, are also noted for being kind. A minority of reviews mention occasional negative night staff in Labor and Delivery who were rude and seemed unhappy. Overall, the nursing and doctor staff are generally described as kind, patient, and helpful.
From the ER staff, Dr's, all the nurses on 4 south floor: everyone has been amazing in helping find out what is going on with my grandpal and for that im grateful.

I don't care what anyone says, St. Michael saved my life in a hurry! Can't let a couple bad apples (nurses) spoil the bunch! 90% of them were great, doctors were AMAZING. Thank you St. Michael!

They have incredible doctors and nurses. In all the years I’ve gone there and many hospital stays there’s only one nurse I consider terrible. He’s just there for a check. And does the bare minimum. Everyone else goes above and beyond. Doctors, nurses , CNA’s housekeepers and dietary.
