It is ok for walk-in shopping only. Online store has multiple technical issues with scheduled delivery from the local store not working. So I was forced to call the Texarkana store and place a lumber delivery order manually over the phone. The store took the order but messed up the order items, messed up the inventory levels, and messed up the delivery date. So I attempted to cancel and get the refund back on the same credit card I paid with. They could not even issue a full credit card refund… they are mailing me a check for some of it. It is a complete and total joke at all levels of the process. Wasted so much of my/their time.

Won't be back. Can't get help to ask a simple question for an item that's supposed to be on the shelf but isn't because you think heaters are more important.
Waited at customer service and couldn't even ask a question because they thought I was for online pickup and no one wants to offer help. Then went down all the way to the self checkouts to ask an associate there but by the time they stopped talking to the other associate, they walked off.
Do you want money or do you want money?

I have shopped at Home Depot for yrs and never really had any complaints. Last week I needed a 4 burner propane grill, after doing a little research, I found that Home Depot had just the right grill. However, several reviews stated that picking this grill up from the store in a box was not adviseable, due to discovering while trying to assemble the 4 burner Nexgrill, that parts were missing.
So, too avoid any hassles, I purchased the grill and asked them to put it together. I was informed that their assembly guy was only in on Fridays, and this was last Saturday 10/13/24. Sooooo, I told them I would pick it up the following Saturday 10/19/24. Now this process took over an hour at customer service with no chairs for customers to sit on. Let me tell you, if you go to customer service be ready to be standing there for awhile! Other customers were shaking their heads telling me "good luck" as they were walking away! It was pitifully!
Now, this morning Saturday 10/19/2025, I called them to make sure my grill was ready.....they told me that my grill was not assembled with no explanation as to why. I decided to go pick it up myself, and assemble it myself @ home. I carried my receipt to customer service, several people waiting, after 20 minutes another employee looked at my receipt, I told him the story, he said I'll go get it. I said Thank You. I waited another 20 minutes...still no grill!
I decided that this place had become an absolute joke and asked for a refund right then and there. The young lady asked "why"? You got to be kidding me!
She executed the refund. There are some serious customer service issues @ this location, I suggest management get involved and resolve them. Gotta go to Lowes and get a grill!😂

One of my online orders for installation had an error. When I went to the store to get it fixed, it was handled professionally, quickly, and with a small amount of reimbursement.
I feel that one of the best measures of a store is by how management responds when things aren't as planned. Weird to write, but it feels as though this store really cares about its customers and brand image.

We recently moved to the area from Colorado and the Texarkana Home Depot has become our supplier of choice.
We've had some issues with custom orders [entry doors that were special order, Trex composite decking, etc] But the staff has been incredibly helpful.
Daniel, Mike, and Sean [managers I've dealt with] have gone above and beyond to resolve the problems we've encountered. They've been extremely positive and professional, even when I got frustrated and a little salty...
I bought a $200 paint sprayer for a project and found it to be a returned item when I got home and opened it. There was dried paint on the sprayer container and everything was just shoved into the box, not packaged by a manufacturer.
Sean drove to my house and brought me a new one to swap out with the one I had purchased.
Same day, within an hour or so of my reporting the issue by phone.
We live about 40 minutes from the store, so this level of customer service exceeds expectations by leaps and bounds!!
An operation of this size is bound to have issues from time to time, and those issues certainly are frustrating when they arise.
But this store's staff and management have been exceptional.

They are being sketchy with their plants. A lot of the houseplants had sharpie over the price tag. Most of them would not scan in the app to see how much they were. I asked an employee in the garden center about it and he just said they probably changed the price. Lowe’s uses sharpie on their barcodes but that’s because they are on clearance. These plants actually ring up higher than the amount marked out on the tag (some were not blacked out all the way and you could see the original price). One of them that I could get to scan was an additional $3 markup they did themselves.
They had lots of indoor plants inside that looked absolutely awful yet they were all still full price. I liked the variety they had for indoor plants but I’ll just stick to Lowe’s because that doesn’t sit right with me. I only have the extra star because the woman at the self checkout was very nice and personable unlike the guy the garden center.
