1st of all it's Ford, and the way I knew for sure was that there were a bunch of sales people just standing and talking to one another as I walked in and a long line in the service area.
I recently replaced the battery in the key (flip out key faub kind) on my wife's 2016 fusion. As per the dash display notification of a low battery. But since then the buttons do nothing. And I have checked that the battery was good and was installed correctly. Searched online for solutions, all failed. Looked in manual for solution and it stated to go to dealership. Went to dealership and was promptly greeted by a salesman who was very friendly and explained the situation and he took the battery out and flipped it over a couple of times and then sent me to the parts department. Once I reached the counter I was greeted nicely again and explained the situation as well as what the salesman did. Guy behind the counter took the battery cover off and made sure it was in correctly, took the key off to the side ( I don't know what he did exactly), then returned it to me and sent me to the service department. Once again I was greeted nicely and once again I explained the situation and was told that I had to have a second key (car was a repo so I only got one key when purchased it) which would be $180 and then they would both have to be programmed at $80 each. So after replacing a $3 battery it would cost an additional $350-$400 so I could get my wife's key faub back to working.
So while the employees were friendly, they didn't actually help me at all and it is just another negative mark against Ford for me.
Knowing my feelings towards Ford this is the 4th Ford/Mercury in a row that my wife has purchased in the past 20 years. '98 Crown Vic she got in '04 was the best once we fixed the common problems. We should have kept it.

I had bought a truck at another place that I would not say here. However, we have come back here a couple of different times to get help with things we can figure out out. Mr. Olan was a wonderful guy he helped me figure out a bunch of things
