Worst storage experience ever! Don't do it! I would give a half-star if I could.I moved from Washington back to Texas in late April. I went online and reserved a 10x30 storage space, but when I arrived they did not have one available. Instead they gave me 3 smaller units (1 5x10; 2 10x20), which I paid for ($189.50), but then they came up with a 10x20 climate controlled ($269 u nit and I switched. I returned the two "free" locks they left for me at the storage spaces I did not end up taking, which they ended up charging me for anyway. They NEVER REFUNDED THE INITIAL PAYMENT, though they said they would. Instead I was billed for both units a month later because they didn't cancel the initial auto withdrawal of $189; they did end up refunding that charge though. After they billed me the next month the $189 I knew they weren't giving me my deposit back, even though Melissa (?) said she did it. Instead I disputed the charge on my credit card and they still refused to give me that money back. So, the first week of July I moved my things out of there, even though the spaced renewed monthly on the 29th. THEY WOULD NOT PRORATE AND REFUND ME FOR THE MONTH! That way they can rent the space again to some other unsuspecting patron and make twice the money. Not only that, for the entire month of June they did not have the air conditioners on, even though I was paying for climate controlled. Apparently it is only climate controlled when they want to do it. Also, the door hasp was missing a screw and would get stuck when the door was raised; I notified them of that, and that there was no light bulb in the unit, but they did not address either problem.Beware. There is no on-site property management and the folks who "run" this facility are located at Uhaul on State Line Road. I believe the manager's name was Melissa or Melinda. I'm unsure, but I'm sure the BBB will find out as I am writing a report there next.Save your money. This place is not worth the headache!
