Muhammad delivered exceptional service during our visit today. We choose Budget after canceling a Turo car reservation due to safety concerns, we found the rental process to be effortless, even without a prior booking. Muhammad's kindness and professionalism made the experience smooth, and I'm thoroughly satisfied with the quality of the car provided!

This heavyset good weave wearing face full of makeup with black liner around her lips was horrible! She act like she didn't want me to get the car. She had to see an itinerary and know why I was in Texas. I didn't think much of it because I was at the airport but I explained I only need for the day. She told me she couldn't rent to me using a debit card (this is a lie I do it all the time at SDF on my business account) so I handed her my credit card. Instead of running the card she asked several times if the card had enough money on it before she runs it. Then she questioned me about my credit score. I just smiled and bared with the insulting behavior and disrespectful treatment. She went the back to talk to her supervisor and when she came back she asked to see when my flight back to Louisville was. I showed her. I didn't think she was going to give it to me so I asked if she could give me a second to converse with my sister in law (because I was over this lady) my sister in law was like just get it we don't have a way to get around. So I go back in and sit down behind a customer the mean lady is serving and wait. When she finished raising her voice at the older gentleman she said next and didn't even acknowledge me. With my head hung I went to the back of the line and waited my turn. Wouldn't you know the girl working the desk next to the big mean girl said next. As I approached the counter big mean girl politely began whispering in the girls ear that was about to help me. Luckily the girl got me out of there without a problem. And smiled the entire time. That one girl is to pretty and well kept looking to be so rude and disgusting towards people. My sister-in-law later told me that she only saw the mean girl be nice to a white woman. But was very nasty towards me and the older gentleman. I think I will contact budget and tweet about this one. If you go there AVOID The pretty full figured girl at all costs she is not nice.

This place was terrible! It hadn't opened yet when we arrived but there were about 15 of us with reservations waiting to go in...the guy sitting at the desk just stared at all of us waiting...finally after about 5 mins he waved us in only to wait in line again since only one person was checking people in. I felt bad for some of the people because they were trying to catch a cruise ship....horrible customer service!!! One guy was walking out to escort a customer to their car and both of his shoes were untied like he was being taken away from something... after an hour my fiancé and I still no car....I WILL NEVER RENT WITH AVIS!!!!

If you want the so called deposit charged to your card after 48 hours and then they claim non refundable go here !!!!!Told my husband and I 2 different stories leaving a huge stress to our stressed marriage.

I rented from this location two times recently. One time on the front end of a cruise from the port of Galveston and a week later when the cruise was done. When I dropped the first vehicle off I was told to hand in the keys and that "I was good". Well, it took over a day for them to actually check the vehicle in. No surprise that they also charged me for the excess time! I got that refunded, but it was a hassle. Fast forward a week and I pick up a vehicle. This was a one way rental dropped off at the airport. Looking at the receipt the next day, they added additional coverages without saying a word to me. Not one single word. Beyond that my Fastbreak account specifically denies those coverages. Two cases of being overcharged in two transactions? I question whether or not these "mistakes" were intentional. Either way, I believe this is a horribly run location. I'll definitely go elsewhere next time.

Rented a car Friday morning to pick up Sunday morning at 9:30.Rep called me Saturday morning to inform me no cars were available Sunday, probably not Monday either.Called customer service, no help there,kinda rude.Put me in a bind,would not recommend them.

Everything was fine at check in. Staff was coureous, we received a free upgrade. The gentleman walking the car made note of every scratch and (so I thought) that the car was covered with dirt and pollen. We had a 24 hour rental and returned the vehicle early with a full tank or gas. Personnel told my husband everything was good to go at drop off and rushed him out, but it wasn't until over an hour and a half later that we received notice the car was successfully checked in. I thought that was weird, but overlooked it. Then Monday came around and I see our final charges are $80 more than our actual total (this by checking the card balance, had not received a receipt via email as promised.) I called corporate because I hadn't gotten a receipt, and was told it was a cleaning fee. My husband contacted the La Marque location because the car was returned in the same condition we received it, which they would know. He was told the car was checked in at the Hobby airport location, so we would need to take things up with them - nothing he could do. Well, I'm not even calling Hobby, because this is ridiculous. For over an hour and a half, this rental was unaccounted for and then checked in at a location over thirty miles away, NOT where we returned it, now we're being charged this mysterious fee? I still haven't even received a receipt detailing the total charges, and it's been five days since we returned it. There is a huge, glaring gap in this chain of custody and the whole situation screams "scam." No wonder my husband was rushed out and told "everything is fine!" It also explains why they insisted on using my credit card for the hold and not my debit card - the bank a customer has a personal relationship with is much more proficient at reversing fraudulent and erroneous charges than a large CC company. And that is exactly what this is - fraud. I've never had this issue when renting with Enterprise, and we only used Budget on this occasion because our preferred vendor was booked our weekend. Lesson learned - I will reschedule or cancel any plans if it requires renting from Avis or Budget. I'll also ensure my friends, family, and colleagues know not to use this company even as a last resort. If you have no choice, document every interaction with photos, videos, and timestamps to prevent dishonesty.

Scammed my daughter and I out of $75 for a cleaning fee. The vehicle wasn't "checked" in until an hour and forty minutes after it was returned. It was driven to Hobby Airport were it was deemed to be dirty. Who was in possession of the vehicle and drove it to Hobby? Why wasn't it checked in immediately? Oh, and it was filthy when we picked it up. Will Never use this company again

Car smelled like smoke. Bad customer service. Car was dirty, and dashboard is foggy. We explicitly asked for a mini van and didn’t get one. And throughout all the cars I’ve rented in my lifetime this has to be one of the lowest quality vehicles I’ve ever used.
