Yeah I noticed a lot of negative reviews regarding HEBs..So I won't speak on the experiences of the other reviewers. I will say from my experience I had a very good time shopping this grocery store. I'm not sure if it's a regular weekly thing, but I found many great deals and coupons for items I was interested in. The produce depart as well as every other departments, was full stock with fresh quality items.

Thanks for the reviews, I was looking for a place to get my groceries while staying here in Texas City. Sounds like they should fire the manager and some of the employees ... Clean house! Service is eveything! I'll be shopping elsewhere while I am staying here for awhile.

Pharmacy Service was horrible. I came through the pharmacy to pick up a prescription WITH INSURANCE. I had to pay out of pocket and come back IN PERSON to be issued a refund. I came on june 29th in the morning. I spoke with a manager about the situation and there was no resolution.

I would give 4 stars but the customer service at the self checkout is horrible! Damn the woman helping me had a very bad attitude and acted as if she rather be talking to her coworker and on the cell phone and not helping people. I only come here when I need to but won't be going thru self check out again

Terrible Quality ControlTERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICEHome Delivery is AWFULplaced an order for home delivery, when the order arrived it was not my order. Nothing, completely wrong. I contacted customer service and they rescheduled. second attempt, delivered to the wrong house, fortunately the neighbor was home and directed delivery to my house. delivery handed me the bags and left. when I unpacked a number of items were missing. I contacted customer service. they said they would contact the driver and see if they had my missing items. if not the store would schedule a delivery of the missing items. said they would call and let me know when the items would be delivered. after three hours and no call, I called customer service. I was placed on hold for 45 minutes. I was then told "the delivery driver said everything was delivered" there's nothing we can do. I this point I got angry because in addition to everything else, I'm being called a liar. After asking numerous times whom I needed to contact next, manager, supervisor, etc. being placed on hold again, they agreed to refund the money for the missing items.HEB should invest some of the money they dump into TV commercials that say customer service is a priority and use it to train their employees to do their jobs. when you call customer service the wait time is 25-30 minutes. if they have this many people trying to reach customer service, that's an indication your customer service sucks.

Smaller H‑E‑B but well stocked and full of helpful employees. We came by to stock our vacation rental for a week of easy meals. H‑E‑B had everything we could possibly need (and more). The parking lot here is a hot mess, so bring an extra measure of patience to navigate cars, weirdly placed entrance/exits to the roadway and an eye for shoppers.

It's Thanksgiving morning and some cold medicine is needed. I check the H-E-B website and it says open till noon. We arrive at 11:30 and employees are standing outside telling us and everyone else they are closed and not allowing anyone inside. Other customers are standing flabbergasted and saying hours showing they are open till noon. An employee just shook his head. I called Food King and they said they were open till 2:00. Food King saves the day!

Why advertise you're open until 12 noon on THANKSGIVING DAY then have employees standing outside waving customers away at 11:30? Great customer service, H‑E‑B! I understand employees want to go home to their families too but then don't say you're going to be open until a certain time then not be. Thank you, Food King, underrated and reliable grocery store.

I love H‑E‑B but there’s one thing that gets me frustrated every time I shop is the baggers put raw meet in with cooked prepackaged food and veggies. Where is the common sense? It pains me to call them out on it every time I see them do this. Please for the love of God and all that is holy, train your partners.

The curbside messes up my orde almost every time and then the curbside manager basically called me a liar today and I got charged $20 more than expected and when I got upset she hung up the phone in my face. I will never set foot in an HEB again

I had 12 items and I was asked to go wait in a standard line rather than using self checkout line that I already stood in like for. The self check clerk was rude and unprofessional.

the closing asm today literally told me to get my things and pay out, when i worked customer service, we were never allowed to tell customers to leave like that. the ginger asm with the nasally voice is so rude lol i was literally walking to the registers and he was like "ma'am you need to grab you items and head to the front" and i held up a thumbs up and he continues to tell me their hours. it was so rude lol

I agree with you wholeheartedly. Most H-E-B cashiers have that condescending, smart-assed tone whereas I have seldom experienced such with Kroger cashiers.

H-E-B is always a good experience with awesome employees from the parking lot to the dock. I’m new to Houston and love this store.
