We didn't have any issue purchasing the hat the first time. We went to switch the size after Christmas at the store next door (locker room by lids) and the new hat did not have the embroidery the original hat did. We went back to the lids next door at the recommendation of the gentleman at locker room, who said the designs were better next door.We asked the lady who was working the station if we could get the Mexican flag embroidered on the side of the hat.Right off the bat she said "I have a lot of designs, you need to be more specific".We told her we wanted a design where the eagle is more detailed, the original hat we purchased had beautiful stitch work. She walked off and grabbed a hat from one of the displays, it wasn't exactly the same as what we had previously but it was still detailed enough that we liked it.So we agreed to the design SHE showed us. She said it would take 20-30 minutes for the design to be done, so we went ahead and walked around the outlet. When we made our way back to the store, just to see no one working on the hat, it was just sitting on the machine with only a few parts done.We were in no rush so we browsed around the store until the lady employee came back and continued working on the hat. We waited an additional 30-35 minutes.Needless to say we were ready to go whenever they finally finished.Again, we weren't in a rush, but the time frame she gave us resulted in double of what it was supposed to be originally.And the results were nothing short of disappointing. The design she put on the hat was nothing like the one we selected, the one SHE showed us, and said she was able to do.I don't know if she thought we wouldn't notice, or just didn't care to use the design she originally showed us. We were perfectly okay with coming back another day, but we were told she could get it done then so we agreed.I am attaching pictures of the end result. The emblem in the middle is crooked, the eagle looks like a blob of brown stitching, it is absolutely not what we agreed to and not what she showed us she could do on the machine.I don't regularly leave negative reviews, but this is was highly upsetting as this was a gift. The lack of customer service on her behalf was disappointing, definitely not a place that we will be giving our money to ever again.

Just was in there @12 noon on 10/9 . Female employee very rude. Doesn’t even acknowledge you when you walk in or asks you if needed any help…just pretends not to look at you. $60 for a hat is outrageous!

We went in looking for a couple of hats for my boyfriend as he wanted to go for father's day. When we were there the employee offered assistance to each individual group in the store. My boyfriend picked his hats and when we checked out she gave some phenomenal hat cleaning tricks as she noticed that I was looking at hat cleaners. Definitely a good visit.

Great selection of hats, caps, & sports gear. They do great embroidery at this location. Not all Lids do the same styles and designs. This location is great! Way worth the trip to Baybrook Mall.

They open at 9am. I got here at 10:40am and stood outside the locked door for 10 minutes with the employee inside just looking at me! I knocked and he just stared. No wave no gesture no sign, nothing! but they do have a sign on the glass in large print saying "OPEN".This was always the place I went to get my hat's. And my only reason for going to Tanger outlet. I won't be back.
