TDECU and their digital banking services are the absolute worst experience I’ve had in my 38 years of life on this planet. Completely and wholly incompetent and make getting to your money harder than rescuing American hostages in North Korea. I hate and despise this institution with a passion I’ve never felt for any other business I’ve worked with.

Have tried several banks, and this is the only one that is willing to order coins for me! I am a coin collector, so finding half dollars can be difficult. The manager was very nice and assured me she can order them for me. Unfortunately they didn't come when they originally told me they would be there, but they were nice enough to call me before they even opened for the day to tell me which I greatly appreciated! They were able to get my coins the following week and I couldn't be happier! THANK YOU GUYS!

I was told by a staff member they financed campers after I bought mine and they could get me a better rate. When I went in to the credit union they said we dont fianance those type of campers. So 2 years later I tried to get a lower interest rate, will they offered 2.25 % higher and $90 more per month. I was a member for years but after they way Ive been treated I'm going somewhere else.Do yourself a favor and and save some stress and go somewhere the cares about there members. Very poor customer service.

This bank has improved its customer service. A year ago I had a serious problem, I was leaving on 45 South, too much construction. I was stuck in traffic for around 45 minutes. It was so difficult get with them.I visited recently this bank and they took great care of me, all your staff. I congratulate all the staff! It is also the bank that lends you more money and gives you facilities to have a loan.

I have never heard about this credit union before until I got my loan from this place. STAY AWAY FROM THIS CREDIT UNION, is terrible. They use a 3rd party company for insurance verification, I have insurance since day one, this 3rd party insurance place are the WORSE, they don’t do their job, have a supper bad attitude, They have a rep name BRIANA, she is the worst, they are lazy, they laziness add me $400 extra to my loan payment. I called this credit union to step in and hel and they don’t care, I told the guy at the end of the day they make look bad, I’m a member from this credit union not the 3rd party company, I have a loan with y’all not the other company. THEY DON’T CARE. This will be myFIRST and LAST time I do business with this credit union. TERRIBLE PLACE

We paid off our loan(early) in Jan 2023 for travel trailer and yet to receive a title. We were told this morning to apply for a loss of title which will cost additional money and frustration. ?TDECU is fraudulent in business practice and not transparent in solving customers requests. We receive a different excuse for no title each time we call. Someone can fix this and should do right by the customer. We will never use or recommend TDECU for any reason in the future.

Oh, gee. We were so excited to have a TDECU account. But now the service is getting pretty bad. We've been left on hold till the call goes to the main menu. We've had trouble getting answers about strange issues regarding auto payments, being sent back and forth to departments with no answers. A committed call back to us has not occurred. The reps are courteous but getting answers resolved is rather grim for now. For now this review is for service in general via the 800#, not a specific location.

Do not bank at this location or with this Bank. If I could give a rating lower I would. I have been banking here for over a year and their customer service through my recent experience is seriously lacking. I have been trying to reach Caroline at the office for weeks and no return calls. I call the branch office and get the run around through the call center. The bank as a whole is ridiculous. They have no idea what customer service means. I literally just spoke to a customer service supervisor Kurt, employee ID number 21386 who lied. He said he was unable to place me in contact with the branch office. I Pointed out to him that I knew this was not accurate because customer service representatives I contacted through the call center he supervises transferee me to the branch. This has been a nightmare experience. Caroline said she would call me back over a week ago, I have heard nothing and I have attempted to contact her multiple times leaving messages to get no response. I am currently placed in a que again when I asked to speak to the branch Manager at the Texas City Office where I bank .Trust your money and business with a bank that knows what customer service means. I will finding another bank.

7-22-2022 I've sat here at TC location Drive through for over 25 min just trying to make a payment . The teller is by herself..on Friday 430 pm. Says people on vacation or they are short handed.But not first time this has happened if they don't have enough people to take care of customers I believe it's really a manager problem not an employee problem....Teller very nice person....

While on the phone with the loan officer she denied my loan and membership because she heard the voice of a black woman. Pathetic to have someone working for you who is racist.

It’s Friday during peak hours lobby is closed and only 1 person working the drive thru apparently!! People are sitting outside their cars waiting because this is taking so long. Ridiculous man! Come on. People don’t have time to wait 45 minutes in a bank drive thru ???In response to TDECU’s comment: NO the lobby is not open, doors are LOCKED and there is a sign up that says the lobby is closed. Sooo???

I’ve been with TDECU since my teen years when I began working.. I’ve always had a good experience with them until I moved to Texas City and the built the small branch by the big Buccee’s when it’s slow and your the only person there service is great and quick… but any other time it’s horrible!! The service is so slow.. you have only one person handling the 3 drive thru lanes and anybody in the lobby. This is so inconvenient.. you’ll be waiting way more than 30 min to an hr. They need to need a specific drive thru and lobby employee bc the wait time is horrible.

I had a great experience getting my first credit card here. They also helped me get my Roth IRA. I love this credit union and how attentive they were.
