Very clean and gentle with Baylee. The faculty understood Baylee wasn't feeling well & addressed her accordingly.

This facility preys on people’s emotions and love for their pets to charge exorbitant prices. Their original plan of care would have been over $1000 for a feline UTI. The vet did not even have the professionalism to call me with the lab results the next day. I was given the results via text by a vet tech. They look for every opportunity to upsell and up charge prices. I understand that this is a place of business, but they could conduct themselves in a more compassionate and ethical monetary manner. AVOID this place and all VCA facilities and literally go anywhere else.

Great staff, wonderful with my furbabies. Only issue is they are a little pricier than I would like.

Cannot recommend enough! I am from out of town and had to bring my pup in for a foreign object stuck in her small intestine. Dr. Johnson and his entire team were accommodating beyond expectations, they allowed me to walk in and saw us right away. They presented my options with clear communication, ensured a fair payment plan, and took care of my beloved dog. The whole staff was so friendly. I am so grateful for this group!

I must give a huge thank you to Dr Cox, Ms Sunshine, and Ms Brennan. I could not hand pick a more professional, informative, compassionate, and attentive group to help me get back on track with my sweet Mr Rexx. Starting with COVID My story isn't so different from many families who experienced a short fall in income. I personally had to make choices that left my dog with sporadic doses of his flea and heart guard. I left this place feeling part of a family. I certainly felt I don't need to feel alone in doing what everyone wants to do and that's care for our kids (pets). Thank You VCA Mainland Animal Hospital I couldn't show or say in words just the appreciation of your group and my family's good fortune. To have you helping me care for Mr.Rexx

Edited : Went for the first time this week. My dog tore his nail out so we went up here. They were able to get us in that morning. Went up there. Said his nail was fine and he just had to trim his nail and gave him some ibuprofen. Took all of five minutes. Then the assistant came in and said “it’s a million dollars!” As a joke. I laughed it off. “It’s actually only $147”. I was shocked. 150$ for a nail trimming that took 5 minutes? I use that joke at my job when a part is like 3$. But it’s just not funny when you charge someone $150 to trim a dogs nails. I’m sure it’s a nice vet. Staff was fine. But who can afford that? They called m back today and apologized mmediately. Said the joe was bad timing but unintentional. I totally get that. The tech that said it was very nice but just not the right thing to say. Ive been guilty of it. They apologized for not getting me a bill estimate before the work was done and they charged 90$ on top of the meds and toe clipping because it was torn and counted as a vet check in. Told me they would do two nail trims. They are't perect but they handled the issue perfectly. Thanks

These people feed off of emergencies and people not being able to think straight and realize what they are really doing. They take your pet into a separate room so you can't see what they do. We paid nearly $900 to get our very sick cat's butt shaved!!! Our cat was extremely sick to the point that we thought he wasn't going to make it. They checked him for FIV and Feline Lukemia. He was negative, so they just sent us home. Nothing about him possibly being poisoned or anything!! And they barely shaved anything off him! Our cat was very lethargic and having diarrhea really bad. They said they couldn't tell if it was poop or an abscess because he has long hair. ...He's an old white cat! You could clearly tell it was diarrhea!
