They will not provide you an itemized bill of parts cost, number of labor hours, or their labor rate. You get just a repair description and the total cost. Major red flags.
*** response***
Y’all had an opportunity to answer my questions about my bill in detail but refused. There is no clarity in your billing process.

I took my vehicle to this location to have a transmission leak looked at. They told me it was some seals and charged me $1k to fix it. The leak kept happening so I took it back. They told me it was more seals and they would have to drop the transmission to fix it which would be $2k just to drop it. Then they claimed based off of nothing that my transmission was probably bad and I should replace it for $7k. I decided to take it to a transmission shop and they found the leaks quickly. It was only $700 to fix the leak and service the transmission. I won't be returning to David's. This place is a rip off. Give your money to anyone else.
2 years later and my transmission is still going strong because I trusted Eagle Transmission in Lewisville over the hacks at David's. Go anywhere else! it will be time well spent. And he tried to refund me to remove this 1 star review.

The worst experience that I have got from this automotive center because of very high pricing.
The price was very high that we cannot compare any other auto-care centers even branded showrooms.
I would recommend not to get this much of high price not worth for it and also they cannot give a detailed bill they just give the large amount that we must have to pay.

Went to David’s to repair a coolant leak on 2012 Audi A4. Repair was quick. Cost was a bit steep for repair items likely due to high parts prices and labor. They did provide pictures and a video of the issue which was nice. They could improve a little on the billing reporting and breakdown of parts and services for the technically inclined.

Very professional interaction and they seem to be a comprehensive repair shop. However, the highest prices I have ever seen for Automotive repair. I have been in the auto industry in engineering for 31 years, I am from Michigan, lived and worked in Auto industry in Detroit area , worked with dealerships across the country. I currently am working in Plano area in the auto industry. Front desk Gentlemen said cost of living in Texas different, that is reason for higher rates, I took my vehicle to Brakes Plus 2 miles away and had vehicle repaired for 60% of David's quoted amount.

I walked in to ask them what it would cost for them to install 2 KYB Front Strut Assemblies, and two Moog Lower Control Arm Assemblies on my Lexus RX-350. They said it would cost me $100.00 for them and over an hours worth of time, to tell me what it would cost me to do that. I would lose the $100.00 if I did not let them do the work. Whatever happened to Estimates? You know they garages use the greatly exagerated "Flat Rate Manual" to charge their hours labor figures. There is not any place anymore that does a Labor, plus parts repair. What it takes is what it is. Capitalism has been dead forever, but at least the chains will give you an estimate. I have been here twice. I thought the people are friendly, and gave me good advice on a Body Shop, so I will try them on mechanical repair. I guess I will never get to see what their work is like because in my opinion their way of doing business is not ethical or in good faith. I am sure this will in no way hurt their business but it will not be mine at least.

Took my old explorer in to get a simple seal changed on the rear differential. Talked to Brian and listened to how "Honest they were and how that's how they have been in business for so long Ect." He told me it shouldn't take more than an hour and it would be in and out same day. After 24 hours i get an email saying they wanted $600 to change the seal because the seal was expensive. They are a Napa dealer and the seal was $16 at Napa. All said and done they charged me $100 (diagnostic fee) to hand me a piece of paper saying the seal was bad on the differential (which was never in question from the beginning) and i left with the car without letting them do the work. I went home and changed it myself in about 30 mins with little to no problem.
In the end, I believe they are dishonest and trying to take advantage of people at this shop. I asked repeatedly for a breakdown of labor and parts for this job and they refused completely. All i got was the runaround that i do not understand how a shop runs. Will never go back and hope nobody gets taken advantage of the way they were trying to screw me.

A few years ago I took my vehicle here to replace a rear window power assembly and have also taken it here to replace my leaking windshield washer reservoir. Since then, the same window power assembly is out and the windshield washer reservoir is leaking again. These things should not need this frequent replacing.

I dropped my car off for an oil change. They called me a couple of hours later and said that I needed a list of things. They said the valve cover gaskets, struts, cabin air filter, engine air filter and a few other things and gave me an almost $2000 quote. But the funny thing is all those parts were replaced by Firestone maybe 5000 miles ago. If they assume that you don’t know about cars, they will tell you the sky is coming down crashing and here’s a quote to stop it. Be careful

Best Automotive car repair shop I've dealt with. I take all my vehicles to David's Automobile for maintenance and issues and have always left satisfied. Staff is friendly as well. Rich is great at helping you through the process and explains everything well. They also provide convenient shuttle home if needed. I wouldn't take me vehicle anywhere else.

My truck had a squeaky noise coming from the back end of it. Had that problem for a few weeks and naturally, when I took it in, it went away. The mechanics still looked at it and at the end didn’t charge me a dime. Very respectful and fantastic customer service. Will be my regular place from now on
