Was nervous about going in as I'm a bit of a bike newbie, but it was a very easy visit. I can highly recommend for one reason: he does seem to run his business honorably. After looking at the website, I came in and said that I think I needed a "standard tuneup" which was listed as $75. However after looking at the bike, he came back and said a few things needed adjusting but a standard tuneup wasn't needed and it would be quite a bit cheaper. Respect.
If the business owner is reading this though, I do have 1 suggestion: I was surprised to leave and find my right brake still needed bleeding. Not only this but the work order noted it needed doing, but did not say it was done. I ended up buying a brake bleed kit with a syringe and adapters and simply applied vacuum pressure; everything is working much better now and it didn't even need a mineral oil topoff. It was quite easy with the right hardware. Perhaps theres a reason this isn't done in store but I don't see why it can't be (for an extra $5-$10)? My advice: buy some syringe adapters, hose, and VacLock syringes. You can pull a vacuum, pump the brakes a bit to get the air out, then lock the syringe for 20 minutes and move on to the next bike.
Never-the-less, thanks again! Still do highly recommend going!

I brought in my old bike to be repaired. Frank took the time to explain the issues that he found. I decided not to repair it, although it was a fair price. Instead, I decided to upgrade and purchased a new bike. Alice was knowledgeable and answered all my questions. It was a great experience, and I will definitely be back.

Brought my old downhill bike here for some tuning. Frank was very knowledgeable even on my out dated bike. Made all the recommendations for repair and upkeep that I had noticed. Will definitely keep coming back.

I've been here a few times over the years and always have the best experience. The guys who work on my bike are awesome and so is the owner. The visit prior to my last I really appreciated the most which was around this time last year. My mom passed away and I wasn't able to come and snag my bike as planned and it was there nearly two months. I keep in communication with them and they were very understanding. I won't go anywhere else for my bike needs.
Thanks y'all for always treating me well and for your patience.

I thought my classic bike was doomed after a terrible experience with a mobile mechanic. Playtri, Frank, and the whole team came to my rescue! They're honest, skilled, and clearly passionate about bikes. I'm beyond grateful for their help and will recommend them to everyone.

Great shop! Staff is knowledgeable and kind. After dropping off a bike for repair, we found our car battery dead and they jumped our car. Thank you for going above and beyond, especially so close to closing time!

Love this place. They always help with my son with his E-Bike, but Martin saw that I was an athletic dude, and helped me find some Hoka running shoes at 50% off no less. The deals are there, and the service is honestly next level

John was very patient, informative, and worked quickly to help me fix my bike tire that popped when I tried to inflated it myself at the gas station. He taught me that it's best to use a bike pump to inflate my bike tires because the gas station pumps have too much pressure and inflate it too quickly. He also noticed that my bike was missing a nut and he replaced it at no charge. It was a great experience with great service.

Early this year, I have brought my 2014 Cervelo and a brand new Wheels Manufacturing's bottom bracket for upgrade. Although the bottom bracket is labeled as BBRight, it didn't fit. Their bike mechanic tried so many things in vain. We gave up and I have brought a different BBRight from Kogel one week later. Same thing. It didn't fit. The mechanic contacted the Kogel customer support and found out some of earlier version of Cervelo frames need a custom set. A week later, we received a custom set from Kogel. It did fit this time. Their mechanics are very patient during this ordeal. The usually 10 minutes installation work became 2+ hours of engineering crapshoot nightmare. But they still charged me the same fee. They should have lost money doing this work. I was very thankful. My old Cervelo is now happy and spinning the crankset.

I am utterly disappointed and frustrated with my experience with PlayTri's Little Elm race. I had signed up for the race and followed all the instructions, only to be met with an extremely unpleasant surprise. The race was canceled without any reasonable notice or explanation.I arrived at the race site as directed, a whole day before the event, only to find absolutely no one there. Imagine my frustration and confusion as I wasted precious time trying to figure out what had gone wrong. After numerous attempts, I managed to get in touch with someone from PlayTri's office, who informed me that the race had indeed been canceled. The worst part? I had spoken to a lady on August 26th at 1pm, who assured me that I would receive a refund for my registration. Fast forward to today, and not only have I not received the promised refund, but I have also encountered a shocking lack of professionalism and accountability. Despite following up multiple times, I've been given the runaround and informed that I won't be receiving a refund. This entire experience has been an absolute nightmare. As if the race cancellation wasn't bad enough, PlayTri's blatant disregard for their customers' time, effort, and financial investment is completely unacceptable. It's frustrating beyond words, especially considering that I won't even be residing in the area anymore. To all fellow racers and potential participants, I implore you to think twice before considering PlayTri for any events. They seem to have no qualms about changing race dates without proper notice, leaving participants high and dry. Furthermore, their refusal to provide refunds showcases their disregard for the hard work and dedication that goes into preparing for race day.In conclusion, I strongly advise against getting involved with PlayTri's races, especially if you value your time, effort, and hard-earned money. This has been an infuriating experience, and I hope my review serves as a cautionary tale for anyone considering racing with PlayTri.
