The Clerk (07) typed in the wrong address(524 instead of 527)and sent my cousins gift to another home/location. Where whomever opened the package and emptied/ stole the contents and then returned. That post office then delivered the empty mailer to my cousin accompanied with a note stating ‘we care’ sorry for the damage…. There was no damage. YOU SENT TO THE WRONG PLACE…. and they opened it.

To avoid the line, I went to the stamp machine, thinking it would give me a roll of stamps and ordered 100. Can you imagine?

This is the absolute worst postal experience that I have ever had. This lady that I spoke with about tracking a package That was delivered, but was not marked in their system as delivered so I called Several times to see why the status wasn’t updated and they tell me that there’s nothing they can do that she’s just running in circles telling me the lack of update status is the problem, Like duh, I know the problem, I needed a solution and she had zero concern whatsoever in helping me Resolve the situation. Terrible customer service. They should have a negative rating.

Well run post office with good staff. I have gone here for years and trust them to take my packages. They are understaffed and overworked but still do a good job.

Messaged them about a delivery that was so called “Delivered” and never received it. Frustrated about the situation and who was it delivered to?

The worst customer service ever. Trying to drop of my package with created QR code, and since package wasn't sealed "properly " according to the guru at the counter, I asked to get a piece of tape to close properly, he said I had to buy it andhe scanned my QR code which has one time use, so when I went to different location of USPS my code did not work. Had to use my precious time to call company I order from, wait for QR code to drop of again..with another trip to another location.Yet The Colony USPS Has a sign to give them good reviews since they competing for best customer service with other locations.By the way my USPS guru was by him self at the counter (imagine 4:15PM) and his coworker just came from lunch break to help him with a line of 13 people. Who takes lunch break 45 minutes before the establishment close for the day. When I asked for supervisor no one was available.Day of service 02/01/24PS, other locations has tapes lying around for customers to use. See picture below

If I could give this location negative stars I would. Nobody else in and place is practically empty. The person behind the counter had an attitude and actually got mad that I made her stand up for even walking in.

It is ridiculous how for one strip of tape that they had to use for my package Heather was loudly complaining telling me that usps can't afford for a little piece of tape for my package. She made sure the whole crowd present got to hear that I didn't tape my package. Ridiculous to be going through this, lack of professionalism. She could have just rejected my package and told me to buy my own tape but decided it was better to make a big deal out of something insignificant. Way to go Heather.

Recently moved to the area and I ship things via USPS frequently so when I saw the reviews, I was nervous. But my experience the few months I’ve been using this location has been awesome.Mr Eric and Mr Joseph have been very friendly with answering questions and accepting my mail. I drop off pre-paid packages at the self service counter a lot and a few times when I needed them scanned in, they were very friendly.USPS is notoriously understaffed so I understand the frustrations with long lines, but I’ve found that if you’re polite and patient, the service is stellar. ?

The lady I spoke on the phone with was very rude, and used a condescending tone throughout the phone conversation. She did not seem to want to hear nor care understand the issue I was reaching out about. When I matched her tone, after growing tired of being spoken to in a condescending tone, she proceeded to tell me “call back when you change your attitude” and abruptly hung up the phone. The gentleman that answered after I called shortly thereafter was very helpful.

Very rude male attendant he clearly needs to retire with no customerService skills whatsoever, does not know how to help people just talks down to you with irritation. If a homeless person can legally maintain a P.O Box with I.D then it shouldn’t be difficult for him to have helped us maintain one after submitting and paying for it online . So difficult and inappropriate.

This place will never change, I haven’t lived in the colony in a while and passing through I had to drop off my packages. Like I do at various USPS locations across the US. There was someone using the self serve and zero people at the desk. I went up to the desk, where I often go, and the worker refused to take my packages and said I could only drop off at self serve. That doesn’t make sense? That is a part of her job is to scan and accept packages and she refused? When I expressed frustration she got an attitude and said she really didn’t care. Another customer came in and waited in line behind me and said yeah she’s the only one that will refuse to do her job. It’s a shame we allow people like this to work anywhere that involves customer service. I can’t believe The Colony residents allow this to represent their town. Glad this isn’t my regular location I hope it eventually gets new workers that care.
