Joyce --the pharmacist--treated a very good friend of mine very badly. My friend is a very nice person whose husband passed away too young from cancer just last year. She needed an emergency refill of a prescription for her special needs son after his medication was lost thru no fault of her own, and Joyce treated her like dirt. My friend had a new prescription from her doctor but also needed help from insurance to work out the problem. Joyce refused to speak with the insurance company initially and made my friend wait for hours for no reason than what appears to be cruelty and her own perceived self-importance. Power trip. I see there are multiple bad reviews for Joyce. Life is hard. There is no reason to be a cow and make it harder for others. Absolutely un-acceptable Joyce. Shame on you.

If I could give Joyce, the pharmacy manager, at this store a 0 star review, I would. She is extremely rude and does not care for her customers. Aside from poor patient care, it seems that she has questionable measuring/safety practices when it comes to filling prescriptions. The reviews below speak for themselves and I would urge anyone to go to a different pharmacy to avoid interacting with her.

This place needs to be Doged. Have never been here when staff (including Pharmacy) was not rude/dismissive. Really shameful as a neighborhood store.
Situation forces customers to drive further to Kroger Walgreens or other options.

It is IMPOSSIBLE to speak to anyone in the pharmacy by telephone. I called on behalf of my elderly, disabled mother at her request after she had had surgery. I am in another town, have medical power of attorney, and couldn't drive to The Woodlands just to ask a question about her prescription. I needed the information for her immediately. Not possible with CVS.
Remember the days when one actually received customer service from a business that receives hundreds of dollars a year from their insurance company for prescriptions?
These days are over at CVS. If you want to speak with a human in a pharmacy department by telephone, go to HEB.

I just had surgery and I also have an infection and need my antibiotics. The pharmacy manager was so rude and condescending to me! This isn’t my first harsh experience with her because she’s been with this location for a while now. She complained about having to transfer my medications. She said I’d receive a text when my meds were ready- that was last Wednesday. I don’t even care if my meds are ready at this point. Several of my neighbors have also complained about her and have also stopped coming here. I’m going back to HEB pharmacy who is also very busy and never complains about helping me. I live how HEB treats me. The rest of the CVS pharmacy staff is great. I feel bad for them because when the manager is around they look miserable. It’s impossible to get through to a live person when you call the pharmacy. I also love the staff in the retail part of the store, for them I give 5 stars; they’re the only reason I come here at all. I’m happily going back to H-E-B pharmacy who are very busy but addressed my concerns in the same business day and I always receive 5 star treatment. They had no problem transferring my prescriptions and I don’t mind making the longer drive for 5 star service. I will say corporate headquarters was happy to receive my feedback on the pharmacy manager. As far as them doing something to rectify this- I’m not holding my breath.

I scheduled a vaccination a week in advance and when I showed up I was told they did not have the vaccine and didn't know when they would have it.

This location has great communication from the pharmacy team. They are always friendly and accommodating. I have been using them for 3 months.

The pharmacy takes way to long to get prescriptions ready and when your stuff is on auto fill don’t expect to pick it up until a week after the date it gives you
