Associate would not allow me to purchase items prior to close. I was in the door (very close to close albeit). It would have taken less than 30 seconds to complete the transaction. Associate would not allow me to purchase said item. Very disappointed with the way I was spoken to. I will be taking my business to the real grocery store HEB all future transactions. ??

This store is pitiful. Busiest time in the afternoon/evening they have 2 checkout lanes open. Long lines at both as well as the self checkouts. This is the norm for Kroger stores, I've discovered. I sat my few items down where I stood and went to HEB, where they have adequate checkout lanes open and products are lower priced. No more Kroger!

I stopped in today to get some items. Went through the self checkout lanes and there was a group of employees busy talking. They never acknowledged me. Never noted the cash register was not working. I had to move to another one which worked fine.Much to my surprise they now have a .50 charge for cash back. That struck my odd as they would prefer we use a debit card because it costs them less at the exchange. I skipped the cash back option and used my AMEX card which I know cost them more, but I was not interested in rewarding them for bad service and cash back all in one.Their Houston area President really needs to start visiting these stores. Of course, it's not lost on me, maybe service has declined since his arrival here? In any event, not a great experience, just not another option along my journey.

This Kroger location is very clean and well organized. The shelves are well stocked. I like a shelf that is straight and orderly and this store has that look. The layout of the store does seem to be a little different than the other two stores in The Woodlands that I am most familiar with. The Kroger store closest to me at times feels cluttered and has a strange smell of old food and disinfectant. So glad to find this one does not. I did not find the item I was in search of on this trip but I did get a couple of other items. I had looked on the app before going to the store and it did show the item in stock. I believe there could be some improvements in that area. The only interactions I had with an associate was on exiting the self checkout line. He thanked me and wished a happy rest of the day. The self check out was working good with no issues. With the app you can order ahead and and have it delivered to your car. Several spaces are marked and easy to find toward the front of the store. This Kroger also has a Starbucks although I could not see a sign indicating that from the outside. There is a large wine and alcohol section, floral department, fresh seafood, deli, cards/stationary, and pharmacy. There is also a Chick-fil-A, PaPa Johns, Pure Barre, Learning Express and a Walgreens in this shopping center.

This is my favorite grocery store! There is an H‑E‑B and Kroger right by my apt, but we always drive 15 mins to the Kroger at Alden Bridge! They’re always well stocked, and they have all of their registers on and working for a speedy checkout. And I love the discounts you get with your phone number! Kroger always saves me at least $10 on my total and sometimes even more!

I imagine all Kroger's are like this one. The price labels are confusing; with card/without card, in or out crowd, who knows. Standard prices are well above other options in the area. The lines aren't long for checking out because not many people shop here.

Love their deli, already made food to go! It's always fresh! Oh and if you love pinwheel the ones that are sold at Starbucks you can save $3 on fresh made ones at Kroger! Need more self check out lanes.

Sushi at 4747 Research Forest is wonderful. Gilbert is an excellent sushi master. If you have a craving for a type of sushi and it's not in the counter already, tell Gilbert and if he has the ingredients, he'll fix you up. Very nice man if you just talk to him. It's my at home sushi fix it place. The rest of the Kroger's very nice, too.

Kroger on Gosling is so bad that we've been making the drive to HEB on Market Street. Out of date merchandise, jumbled up stuff on shelves, dirty floors, carts all over the parking lot, letting Kroger brand products push out better choices.
