We stopped in the Woodlands Texas location today to ask about buying some Compost for our yard. The bald guy behind the register could not have cared less about helping us or explaining their products. Rude, Dismissive and Indifferent. I think that's the Living Earth motto. Avoid this place like the plague!

Absolute worst customer service I’ve ever experienced! The guy working at the front desk (he claimed to be a manager) was rude and misleading. After picking out all the stone and soil I wanted, I returned to the front desk to arrange delivery. After finding out they would charge me for two separate delivery fees for the stone and soil. I decided not to purchase the soil. The guy at the front desk then became argumentative with me to the point where I walked away from the entire order. I will never purchase anything from this place again for myself or my business. I strongly advise anybody else reading this to stay away and take your money somewhere else.

They put you on forever hold and don't come back no matter how long you hold. I'll go elsewhere and you should too. They don't deserve 1 star

Just went by to order some sand because they wouldn't answer the phone. And.. they are closed but shouldn't have been for another hour. Then I found all the bad reviews. I guess we will be going elsewhere to avoid nightmare service.

Quality of the material was good, but they don't deliver on time as scheduled. When I placed my order, I requested my delivery as early as possible in the day. Called a few times and was assured it would be delivered. Around 5 p.m., they called and said it wouldn't be delivered that day. Of course, I had expensive equipment rented and labor hired to apply the material.I didn't even get an apology. They just shrugged and said it would be delivered the next day. Totally unacceptable. Avoid doing business with this company.

Do not purchase pine straw from this place. Mine was full of sticks and debris! They also need to make it clearer where to park. The man outside made such a big deal about how we parked, which was causing no problems.

Went with a trailer for mulch. Arrived at about 1:15pm but they were closed. Hours are Saturday 7-3. This isn't the first time they were closed at a random time. Its unprofessional and could cause an accident considering the location and no turn around space.

I should have paid attention to all the negative reviews about customer service. Go elsewhere.I paid $1300 for gravel delivered for a driveway. The person at the counter told me they will do tailgate delivery, where the truck drives along the driveway, pouring gravel as they go. When the delivery driver arrived, I also told him I wanted the load tailgated. He dumped the load in one pile. It’ll cost me an extra $400 in equipment rental and an extra day of work just to do what Living Earth said they would do.The manager, Steve, refused to refund the delivery charge. His position is that they CAN tailgate the delivery or not. It’s up to them. My position is “do what you say your going to do”.

This place is Great! Great customer service they always have what I need and are very helpful.
