I had purchased a blouse online, and it was a little too big so I called to exchange it for the next size down. The first problem I have is that you have to call for an exchange or return, which took me an hour on hold just to get through to someone. Next, the only option I was given for a return was to bring the item to the nearest store, which is The Woodlands Mall location. Google maps incorrectly placed the store next to White House Black Market (one of my favorite stores). By the time I found the location, which was on the complete other side of the mall, I was sweaty from walking outside. The salesperson I think was looking down on me because I was sweating. I gave her the barcode that I was given for my return, and it turned out that I had been sent the wrong code - it was for the smaller blouse. She then proceeded to tell me there was nothing she could do since I didn't have an order number, even though I showed her the string of emails showing all my orders. I find this funny because when I call customer service, the system automatically recognized my number and email, and is able to pull up all of my orders. But according to her there was nothing she could do. She said that all she could do was give me a store credit for half the price of the blouse. I was tired of the whole thing so I accepted it. What should have been quick and easy turned into a huge ordeal. I will not be shopping with Loft anymore.

I always came here for my casual and working clothes. Their quality and prices are the best to compare to other companies. Customer service is the best here. Save for good!

Kori was a pleasure to work with. Knowledgeable and very courteous. Made shopping there a breeze. Definitely coming back just off her accord.

I mainly order online and had to return some items. The lady assisting me was very friendly and helpful. There was another lady there that interrupted the transaction and said we will only do returns within the 30 days. I know the policy and I didn't need her input. All my items were well within the 30 day policy. I felt like it was none of her concern.

Terrible customer service. I rarely leave negative reviews, but their customer service was so poor that I will literally never buy from this company again. The first girl, clearly had no idea how customer service works - she was rude from the very beginning when I stated I had two separate returns. She acted as if I was being a nuisance, when the reality is I am just extremely busy and don't have time to go to stores often. I could totally understand why the first return was not able to be returned, I purchased it months ago, but it had never been worn and still had the tags on it so I gave it a try. It just didn't fit me well. They stated it could not be returned, and I complied. The second was slightly over the return policy date, I get it - policy is policy, but stores should be mindful that sometimes, it's better to have a satisfied customer rather than treat them poorly. She called in someone above her, who was completely condescending. When I told the two employees that I was not happy to hear I would only be receiving a 30% refund especially when they still had the same sweater on a mannequin, she responded with "that's a different color" (grey vs yellow). Both are fall colors. This just shows how terrible fast fashion is. Loft originally was not marketed as fast fashion, but rather clothing that could be sustainable and functional to wear to work over time. Now it has become a run of the mill clothing store that cannot even stand behind its product for 40 days. That's right I was 10 days past the return date, but that sweater was now considered final sale. I asked to speak to the person above her, and rather than come and try to mitigate the situation, the manager joined in on the gang up of three employees being inconsiderate and condescending to a paying customer. I was told I should try to resell the sweater on a resale app or take it to Plato's closet. At that point I just lost my ability to even interact with these people and took the sweater back. If I tried to resell the sweater I would still not get what I paid for it. I told them I did not even need a refund and would be happy with store credit. But they refused. Now the company has lost a loyal customer, and proved to me that it's fast fashion turn around business model is failing it's customers. Furthermore, who the heck tells their customers to sell their clothing to second hand retailers? Not your hierarchy that's for sure. It's great for employees to have comradery but it was clear their interactions were more about backing one another up and not about true customer service.

The women working the registers were extremely rude and slow. I don’t feel like elaborating but it was enough to put me in a bad mood the rest of the day

So sad to write this as almost all of my clothes are from Loft. I went into The Woodlands store today to pay my bill and buy a few pairs of jeans/pants. I have spent hundreds of dollars here in the past few months renewing my wardrobe. The sales associate (6845240) was irritated that I was paying my bill and asked for my ID and personal info multiple times, then walked away after the transaction was complete. I stood there holding the clothes I wanted to buy like an idiot. Then she turns and says, "oh, you're getting more?" She bumps into my 80 yo mother, checks out my items. When I ask if I can use any rewards, so snaps- you don't have any- and walks off. Well, guess I'm going to only shop online or at the Champions Loft. Sadness.

Will not shop at this location again! The new sales associates and manager do not know the meaning of costumer service. I bought an item online using a reward and wanted to do an even exchange, same item just a different size, and they would not help. I have never had a problem before. I had to drive over an hour to another Loft on Cypress Creek Parkway. They did the exchange with no problem. They were so very nice! The manager there could not believe the way I was treated. I will now be shopping at that location.
