Excelent customer service. I had huge issues with my truck after being unused for months. They had to do a lot of trouble shooting to get it up and running again.
I used to go to Midas only for brakes, I had another shot for everything else but they definitely earned my business. New repair shop for all 3 vehicles.
2024 Update: still bringing my vehicles to them. If there is a problem, they will troubleshoot until resolved.

We have been their loyal customer since 2009 and they have literally saved us thousands from repairs and maintenance of 7 vehicles. I cannot remember the number of times we are told by other repair shops (from dealership to other chains and independent repair shops) that we need to replace something ASAP or we risk being in an accident or major repairs anytime and we bring it to them and they tell us it is good for a year or more. One time our Suburban suddenly stalled in Austin and the repair shop there said we need to replace the transmission for about $8k. We decided to risk the additional cost of having the truck transported back to Spring and have Midas Sawdust do the repair. They diagnosed the cause correctly and did it in less than 30 minutes for just over $100. That was over 3 years ago and we never had the same problem. We cannot speak highly enough of them and take every opportunity to recommend them.

713 Sawdust for ALWAYS helping me.! ?As a single woman, it's especially comforting to know you have a mechanic you can TRUST, especially in this industry... where it seems to "prey" on those of us who were in "home economics" vs "auto mechanics" classes. Yes I know things have changed, but..... automechs are not in my wheelhouse. He takes care of a lot of my friends' cars as well as their parents' cars. 2nd GENERATIONAL. You can't stay in business this long, if you aren't honest and reputable and fair pricing. Not to mention EXEMPLARY CUSTOMER SERVICE-- ABOVE AND BEYOND ACCOMMODATING. He is very gracious and kind with all the customers he's interacting with.
So refreshing in these post COVID times!!!! ??
My latest misadventure left me without a car over the long Memorial Day weekend... I had to leave it in a parking lot Sat and have it towed to Tom Tuesday morning. Called him and he said have them tow it to me and I'll get on it right away.
After they diagnosed, it needed a new starter, After I authorized the repair, Tom knew I'd been without a car for 3 days and he said I'm going to get this done for you TODAY so we can have it done by 5:30.
It was!!!!
CAN'T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE ANY HIGHER⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Plus if you're here in The Woodlands, it's nice to support the "hometown/ neighborhood mechanic"... Because that's how it feels when you walk in ?#goodoldays. ?

I recently visited Midas on Sawdust and had an excellent experience, thanks to the owner, Tom. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the cleanliness of the shop. It’s clear that Tom and his team take pride in maintaining a welcoming and professional environment.
Tom was incredibly genuine and attentive. He quickly diagnosed the issue with my car’s A/C and presented me with two options for addressing the problem. I appreciated the transparency and felt well-informed about the choices I had. Both options were reasonably priced, making it easier for me to decide without feeling pressured.
The service was prompt, and my A/C is now working perfectly. I highly recommend Midas on Sawdust for their honesty, efficiency, and fair pricing. Tom and his team truly deliver outstanding customer service.
