The staff stole my husbands $600 bottle of cologne. We have stayed there multiple times for getaways and we have always loved it. At our latest stay, my husband accidentally left his toiletries bag in our room as we packed up. We immediately called to let them know, as housekeeping was about to clean it. The bag was apparently given to security as is, but took us literally 5 days to get it back. We called day after day and always got an excuse that “security just left” or “you’ll have to call back tomorrow”. when my husband picked it up today the cologne was gone, with 10000% certainty it was in there when we left it. That’s why he was so persistent in contacting them to begin with. Absolutely ridiculous.

Very very well run hotel. Super clean, beautiful bedding (as always at a Westin), awesome location! I had several great experiences throughout my business stay. Delightful servers in the restaurant who poured you coffee to go and other helpful perks. Really, it's that simple - just going the extra mile and not nickle and diming loyal marriott customers (long line at the counter lead to a free diet coke ). Great people working here! Best of all, Megan Curry from Business Travel Sales helped me tremendously after my stay since I will be coming back many more times throughout the next 2 years or so. Megan took the initiative to reach out to ME! I'm telling you folks, you don't see this type of top notch customer service anymore. A+++ experience.

Melissa at the front desk was a really big help, and she was very respectful towards me and my family during our stay, the service from the staff was a 10/10 everyone was very welcoming. The atmosphere was very nice and friendly and the rooms we stayed in were amazing I would definitely recommend staying at the Westin.

The Westin on the Waterway is our preferred hotel in The Woodlands. Its prime location along the waterway offers easy access to a variety of dining and entertainment options, making it incredibly convenient for guests. Whether you're interested in exploring Market Street, attending concerts at Cynthia Woods, or shopping at the mall, everything is just a short walk away. Additionally, the nearby trolley stop provides effortless transportation to other key attractions within the Woodlands Town Center. The property itself boasts an array of appealing features. Guests can enjoy comfortable beds, clean rooms with pleasant views, and a selection of nice amenities. The pool and workout facility, equipped with Pelotons, are perfect for those looking to relax or stay on top of their fitness routine. The on-site restaurant and bar offer great dining options, and the added convenience of a Starbucks is a welcome perk for coffee enthusiasts. In summary, The Westin on the Waterway exemplifies comfort and convenience, making it an excellent choice for anyone visiting The Woodlands..

This week I made a reservation at this hotel for getting ready for my wedding day. However, when I called to inquire about the possibility of an early check-in so that I could prepare for the ceremony in the room, I was met with extreme rudeness and a refusal without any explanation. Despite my willingness to pay any additional fees for the early check-in, the staff was uncooperative and even hung up on me during our conversation, forcing me to call back.Unfortunately, due to this negative experience and the lack of accommodation for such an important day, I had no choice but to cancel my reservation. It's disheartening to have encountered such poor customer service during what should have been a joyous occasion.I hope that you will take this feedback into consideration and strive to improve the customer experience for future guests, especially those celebrating significant events like weddings.

This location is great because you have access to the waterway, restaurants, and trolley right outside your door! It’s the quality you would expect from a Westin with additional perks due to the location.

Overall the room was clean and comfortable, only complaint would be the sink in the bathroom wouldn’t drain, other then that it was a nice experienceFood & drinks: It’s connected to an Italian restaurant with a bar on the second floor that has live entertainment. Several restaurants within walking distance and plenty of other bars as well

I am writing this regarding a serious assault on my father that occurred at the Westin, the Como Social Club, on January 5th.My parents and two other couples were enjoying their time on the patio when an extremely intoxicated individual began repeatedly harassing them. Despite multiple notifications to the staff, the situation escalated. The assailant struck my father leaving injuries to his lip, nose, and jaw.The entire unprovoked incident was caught on camera, and you can see my father was completely blindsided by the drunk individual. The response from the Westin's security team was horrendous. Instead of promptly addressing the situation when first notified and ensuring my father's well-being, the security personnel ignored complaints about the intoxicated person, and after the attack told everyone to leave. The lack of immediate intervention is deeply concerning and goes against the expectation of a safe and secure environment for patrons. Luckily, my mother called the police, and the assailant was arrested.I have reached out to The Woodlands Westin numerous times via calls and emails but have not received any response. As a concerned party, I find the silence disheartening, especially given the prior notifications to your staff about the escalating situation.I understand that unforeseen incidents can occur, but the negligence of the security personnel resulted in the unnecessary injury of my father. It is very unfortunate that the assault occurred and equally disappointing that the Westin cared so little about its patrons.*** Response to 2/5/24 comment***Hi Ernesto,I strongly suggest your company review and revise your safety standards and protocol if you believe this was sufficient and “standard.” I would be happy to share the video of the incident for your review, as it appears there are a lot of discrepancies in the information you just stated. The waitress reported multiple instances of harassment by a drunk individual, leading to a lack of action by security. On the video she shouts right after my father was struck, “I told them (security) to get him, I told them before this escalated.” The assailant was not removed despite her efforts, raising questions about the effectiveness of your security protocols. Why did they not remove him when they were notified- if as you said “they followed your safety standards?” Why was the assailant allowed to come near them instead of being escorted out. If security would have done it’s job my father would NOT have been injured. Furthermore, after the assault, there was a noticeable lack of concern for my father's well-being, as your security personnel focused more getting everyone out. This too is on film. I am puzzled by the claim of direct contact with the parties involved. We have not received any communication even though Kenneth Holland, your security director, and Alex Tapu, your F&B Supervisor were emailed and called on January 16th. Your response is disappointing and concerning. Taking ownership of a mistake with a sincere apology goes a long way, but doubling down that your team followed standards of care instead is mind blowing. We will be following up.

I love this hotel and have stayed many times the location is great the attached restaurant and lounge are amazing. This place has a strange downside. Almost every part of this property smells nice EXCEPT there elevators! It genuinely stinks in the. Smells like they used old mop water in them. So it's kind of a buzz kill cause it's smells so nice when you walk in the get in the elevators and your taken back by the smell then you get to your floor and it smells good again. Kinda strange....And I've stayed there multiple times throughout the last couple years and it's always like this. But other than that the hotel is awesome

Ekaterina Vasilyeva and the other staff made my stay one of the best ever! Moving forward this will be the only stop for me when I need a hotel. They made my special weekend perfect since I was celebrating a special occasion. Decorations, champagne and even a sweet card was left in the room at check in!!!
