Been in healthcare a long time and this is one of the worst run pharmacies I have ever seen. Customer service and professionalism is completely absent. Operationally, I've seen toddler talent shows with greater organization and urgency.
If corporate needs a case study on how not to manage a pharmacy, I have the perfect candidate.
Save yourself the madness and move to the HEB pharmacy.

The staff at the Walgreens @ the Alden bridge, Research Blvd location, is the best. They are friendly, helpful and courteous to everyone’s needs. They keep their store neat and well stocked. Walgreens Corporate needs to have people work with customers to improve their app in dealing with prescriptions. The app is good it just needs some tweaking to make it user friendly.

Very rude staff. Wanted to cash in to my Paypal. Asking for my id showed my state id saved as a photo on my phone. Refuse said need the physical id. Walked all the way there. A PWD. No consideration. Said left it at home. Why need the physical one. Just same. Just need to see it to verify my identity.

I suffered from a racist attack in this branch, today when I went to buy alcohol they did not want to sell it to me because my passport was not American or Canadian, the manager told me that they can only sell American and Canadian ones according to Walgreens policies. which are not true. I hadn't had any alcohol today and I was buying 3 beers and because of the people she didn't want to sell me, I was like with my valid and legal passport and she, for the simple fact that it wasn't an American or Canadian passport, didn't want to accept it. But I will take action on the matter and if I have to proceed legally I will do so, enough of the racism, you can no longer visit and buy peacefully

This place is really great! The staff is very helpful and patient. I have no issues picking it up in store since they are very quick and efficient (even when I moved I would make the drive to this location) but recently started having it shipped directly to my house for free! Great service. Highly recommend.

I wish I got his name but the male pharmacy tech helping me tonight (3/7/2023 8:20pm) was amazing. I got seen at the clinic and went straight to Wallgreens. They had my meds but there was an Insurance miscommunication. It was almost closing time and he was so patient and helpful. He called Tricare and so did I and that’s when I found out it was put in under the VA not my insurance. I was ready to just pay out of pocket, but he once again went above and beyond and figured it all out. Thank you for being so helpful.

Warren at pharmacy went above and beyond! He took the time to help me find a local pharmacy with the medication I needed. Very nice and professional! I will consistently go to this specific Walgreens now! I highly recommend this store and pharmacy!

Absolutely DISGUSTING Customer Service, Pharmacy technicians are extremely lazy, horrible communication skills and lack any interest in going out of their way to help customers. I asked why my prescriptions are so expensive and and reply was “I don’t know, you should know this it’s your insurance” and then asked if I was going to pickup the prescriptions for my surgery or not?!! CVS Rocks!

The pharmacy hours are not set. They are sporadic hours. They are highly understaffed and struggle with filing with your insurance. I highly recommend switching your pharmacy to the Walgreens at 242. They are 24 hours and better equipped.

Store is nice but pharmacy is extremely slow. I've been trying to pick up prescriptions for several days but drive thru is closed all the time lately, and the line inside has been too long for me to wait in. I even had to get an emergency refill at another Walgreens that was much more organized while I waited on this one to open drive thru. To top it off one of my prescriptions required me to call because they couldn't process it for some reason. I waited on hold for 30 minutes only for them to drop my call when I was next in line. I am having my prescriptions transferred to somewhere else once I talk to my GP.

The customer service of the pharmacy at this specific Walgreens is horrible. They have trouble getting prescription orders correct and one of their 2 speakers in their drive through does not work properly.
