Thornton Pit Stop is a great gas station and truck stop in the middle of nowhere. The store is super clean, absolutely fantastic, and first class all the way. The food is life-changing, truly a religious experience, with very delicious options like 100% Angus beef burgers, a BLT, fries, and onion rings that are great and primo. The gas prices are very reasonable for a small town. The staff, cashiers, cooks, and clerks are really friendly, nice, and helpful, offering assistance even when busy. Customers appreciate the quality and recommend stopping for a snack or meal while on a long drive.

Stopped in for a snack and a potty break and ended up staying for a burger…and not just any burger…it was phenomenal! Everything was fresh and put together perfectly! The two employees working were so friendly and welcoming, we chatted with them the entire visit. 10+ stars!

We often call in burgers to go and I get a bun-less bacon cheeseburger. Jacob cooks it up just right and even brought it out to us when we forgot to call and had to wait a few minutes.
