If your northboundn save your money for the Loves that is just about 2 miles further north, if your south stop here before you get to this Valero. We visited on September 22, 2024 at about 330 pm. Every single window washer station/water reservoir was empty so I could not clean my windshield. Inside the store was filthy, and the food station was questionable at best... completely unacceptable

The brisket taco is amazing! Also catfish with potato wedges and hush puppies are perfect finger food for driving. They also provide to go green salsa, and onions.

Alright place. Low fees/high withdraw limit on ATM machine: good. Truck parking. Clean. Decent selection of cold beers. Subways franchise. No showers. No dedicated truck only diesel pump.

This gas station is always a stop I usually make while traveling to and from home (RGV). I will usually stop because of the convenience of the restroom. I will likely continue since it's 1 out of the 2 gas stations in this city. I warn you DO NOT eat the food that are under the heat lamps. I did the mistake of grabbing a cheese taquito on the go. 1 hour later I felt the wrath, food poisoning, worst 2 days of my life. I'm guessing the food was there for a while or bacteria while handling or being cooked. I would suggest buying sealed items from this store. Never again, will I look at heated lamp food the same.
