HSR saved my life. The classes, sessions, community, staff, and individual therapy really helped me in my journey. Trust the process! You get out what you put in! Thank you so much! Love y’all!

I have been to HSR twice as a guest speaker. This treatment facility is INCREDIBLE. The amount of time, love, and dedication the staff puts into these beautiful humans is astounding. They are getting to the bottom of trauma/healing and it is so refreshing to see. Healing Springs Ranch is a blessing to anyone that steps foot into the doors. And the GORGEOUS facility is definitely an added bonus.

I had the opportunity to collaborate with Healing Springs Ranch, and I was genuinely impressed by their sincere care and compassion towards individuals struggling with mental health. If you're seeking assistance with addiction, you've come to the right place. The dedication they put into their treatment programs and the incredible transformation you'll witness is remarkable. I highly recommend this treatment facility.

The absolute worst place out there. If you like being treated like a child then this is for you. The staff are rude, they take meds out and don’t give them at discharge even though you paid for them!!! They are a scam!!! HUGE RED FLAG!!! Also I agree about Holly, greedy greedy, greedy!! All they want is that money so a 45 day stay ends up to be over 60!! They want you to stay as long as you can so they can bill insurance $98,000!!!!

**Note: I am an addictions therapist with no affiliation with this company.**I wanted to make this known as I have had hundreds of clients go here and 99% of them reported a great experience (this is very rare in this industry). I continue to refer here knowing people find healing here and generally get a lot of help!

I was treated horribly at this facility. I can’t even imagine talking to my dog like I was spoken to during my stay. (techs, admin, and therapists) Beware of the manipulation from staff, especially administration. My time there has left me more broken than before I arrived The administration picks favorites so not all clients are treated equally. It’s unfortunate that staff was so unkind because I looked to them for help. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!

I concur with the last reviewer. HSR saved my life. They don't just focus on the twelve steps. In fact, I didn't practice much 12 steps at all and the value I received was more from their approach to helping me look at and heal my past traumas from their unique experiential therapy. They have one therapist who helps get out the anger that's blocking the core issues from being dealt with. The same therapist on the next day helped me get in touch with the underlying issues through Reiki and deep mindfulness practice. Another therapist is an expert in Gestalt therapy where the person who is doing their work is supported by others in the group playing family member roles to get in touch with past trauma they've been running from. My individual therapist worked with me through ETT therapy which uses skillful guidance and colors to help me get in touch with past traumas from which I'd been running and using over. At HSR, I also discovered a non-12 step approach to recovery, Recovery Dharma , which uses Buddhist practices as an approach to recovery. It's now my main recovery group. It is a nice place, no doubt, but I hardly felt like I was vacationing at a resort. As with anything, an open mind, willingness to put in the effort and letting go of control are essential for the help to work. I'll be forever grateful to HSR for helping me get out of hopelessness and a desire to end my life and giving me tools and confidence to stop living out of victimization and instead live as a creator of my life experiences.

The HSR staff is committed to helping folks heal from the traumatic events of their lives. Their job can be thankless at times but they continue to serve those in need even during these turbulent times.

I can't speak to the facility or programs itself. All I can say is that a person named Andrew was extremely helpful when I called looking for help. He went out of his way to find and recommend facilities that would better fit my needs for non-addiction psychological services for my partner, and even educated me on the situation in Texas and what I can expect and what to look for.If you somehow get to read this, thank you so much Andrew. It was probably only a 10 minute call, but I am so grateful to you for the information you went out of your way to provide when you didn't have to. I've had to deal with a lot of medical personnel and offices over the last few months. All I can say is I wish the world had more people like Andrew in it.

I’ve been here three times in the past 2 years. This last following one I went because I lost my kid and then was kicked out because I was a threat to the community. I was the mayor at the time and left previously for a funeral a few days before I got kicked out and when I came back that night the entire community missed me. The program itself is good along with the therapy, but the program director Julie isn’t a good fit for the buisness because she takes things personal. I kept coming back for a reason and this last time I went extremely disappointed me. Now it’s just for the money and it used to never be like that. They pick and choose who they want to try and save but when it comes to those who really need it, they’ll kick them out. Highly disappointed in this facility now because it used to be my safe haven now it’s a place thats in it for the money.

Contrary to the review below, HSR saved my life. I was medically intubated on 4/3/18 from respiratory failure due to alcohol abuse. I was lucky enough to get into their program and stayed around 3 months. Before I left, they made it a high priority to make sure my life outside of the "bubble" was arranged. They took me to tour a sober living apartment complex in Dallas and that's where I lived for a year post HSR. Rehab is not a one stop shop to recovery. The hard work comes after you've left and you will not stay sober if you don't put in the work (12 steps, finding a sponsor, attending weekly AA meetings, etc) I haven't even mentioned life inside the bubble. The food, therapy, classes, free time are all geared toward mental health. Like the lady below said horseback riding, but it's called equine therapy and it's highly effective. Yes, it is like a resort. But when your sole purpose is deciphering/working through the root of your addiction, you should be focused on that and that alone in a comfortable community environment. Regarding families not being able to access the therapist.. I'm kind of confused because every Sunday is family day and you have the option to have family therapy. There is also an intensive weekend long family therapy workshop. Thing could've changed since I was there in 2018 but, like I said in my first sentence, HSR saved my life and I'm almost 3 years sober. I am so thankful for their program, facility and Dennis!
