Outdoor showers only have cold water. They wouldn't let me use the ones for camping. Facilities broken.

Great park. A lot to do here. Basketball, disk golf, RV,pavilion, baseball, archery & hiking, playground. Nice restrooms.

There is no more free camping and nowhere is it posted that you need a reservation. So not only do you need have to make reservations they are charging which odd fine had I known before setting up camp for the night. I arrived an hour before closing and had just fallen asleep when I was woken up and asked to pack up my things since I didn’t have a reservation. I asked if I could make one immediately and pay whatever fee. I was exhausted from driving all day and just needed to get some rest instead of having to park somewhere and sleep in my car.

First park I’ve ever seen with showers. The bathrooms are immaculately clean as well as the park itself. It is huge, yet still not crowded and very safe. Probably the best park in Harris County.

Playground: Nice Playground area!
Toilets: They are a little bit of a distance from the playground, making it hard for little ones.
Picnic area: Could be cleaner.

Love the park. Would be 5 stars if the basketball court had some improvements.
The fencing is the worst. No fence right before a huge decline that you have to run down to fetch the ball but a fence that's too short on an INCLINE that forces you to walk around it every time it bounces over. Designed by a psychopath if you ask me.
The water fountain is not drinkable.
Bonus: It'd really be nice if there were some wind-breaking structures. Maybe surrounding the court with padding so that the balls stop bouncing into the mud and bringing sand and dirt onto the court as well as blocking a little bit of the wind.
