First time getting my hair dyed and I’m absolutely ecstatic i went to this place. Rylee did my hair and can i just say she is just the sweetest! She was patient with me despite me having no idea what i even wanted to do! Not only that she kept constant communication and let me in on what she was doing the entire time. The whole experience was a 10/10 and I’m glad to say i have found my new fav salon! Thank you Rylee!!

I cannot recommend Salon On Main enough! The service, hospitality, and overall atmosphere are truly exceptional. Feeling comfortable and welcomed in a salon is everything to me—past experiences elsewhere have sometimes been tainted by judgmental or rude staff, so a warm and friendly environment makes all the difference.
Today, my mom (her first visit to this salon) and I came in for haircuts, and Rylee was absolutely wonderful. She was friendly, smiley, and genuinely made us feel at ease—such a sweet personality! On top of that, she did an amazing job with both of our hair. I truly love my haircut, and my mom adores hers as well. The service itself was excellent, and the salon offers a wide variety of beverages, from water and soda to mimosas and wine, which was such a nice touch.
As if that wasn’t enough, both my mom and I received free gift bags with small product samples—something I’ve honestly never gotten after a haircut before!! It was such a pleasant and fun surprise.

I went in for a strand test and was not asked before having hair taken off my head. The stylist didn’t ask for my consent before doing that, or told me what their procedure was. Never once have I had that happen when asked for a strand test. 😕

I have been coming to SOM for years!! Staff is so friendly; honest about products & styles, not just trying to sell people things they don’t need or want; really show they care about their clients; and have such quality in their work. I always enjoy coming to get some me time!

I get my hair done regularly and have always loved it! The prices are very reasonable and SO worth it. The staff is very sweet and accommodating. I have never left here feeling like i received anything less than what i asked for. I recommend all my friends and family to come here!

I’ve been a loyal customer of Melyssa’s for over 10 years, and I can honestly say that my experience has only gotten better with time. From my very first visit, I was impressed with the welcoming atmosphere and professional service, and it’s been the same ever since.
My teen children are also customers and will wait to get in just to see their stylist!
The team here is absolutely amazing. I highly recommend Salon on Main to anyone looking for a top-tier salon experience!

I’ve been getting my hair done by Melyssa for over a decade and followed her to Salon on Main. Now that she’s one of the owners, she’s truly taken the experience to the next level and you can see how passionate she is about the salon, her clients and staff.
The salon itself is absolutely adorable—clean, bright, and full of great energy. The entire staff is so kind and welcoming, they really create such a comfortable and inviting atmosphere.
What I love most is the personalized attention she gives to my hair. Melyssa always takes her time to make sure my cut and color are perfect, and she exceeds my expectations every single time.
I love supporting local businesses and it’s great to have a place that puts so much heart into their work. I can’t recommend Salon on Main enough!

I recommend this salon any chance I get! I have followed Melyssa to probably 5 places across 19 years. I have tried others and just couldn’t do it. I drive from Cypress just for her every 5 weeks! Everyone there is awesome. Julie is the receptionist and knows me and always has my Diet Coke waiting! I have several friends that I have sent there over the years and they are all still clients. Without hesitation the best there is!

This salon has ruined my life. My hair was passed my butt, I asked for a trim & walked out with this
I am a new mother and wanted to make myself feel better after struggling with PPD and this happened. It has tanked my self esteem to the point that I hate going anywhere, taking pictures, and even looking in the mirror and it’s been MONTHS. This salon has single handedly made being a happy, new mother IMPOSSIBLE.
I’ve gotten quoted $2000 for extensions to match my hair to what it was before.
