8.24.23 Dropping off expired meds. A few Walgreens have these great metal boxes you can drop your expired meds or meds you no longer are taking. All pharmacies should have these boxes!

Absolute trash! My daughter’s prescriptions were sent in at 10:30 this morning was told come back in a hour and it would be ready. Ok great but not the case. I showed up a hour and a half later for them to tell me everything was ready but that my insurance didn’t cover my daughters inhaler and that they were filling a different one instead of asking if I just wanted to pay out of pocket for what was prescribed. Ok fine how long will it be? Another 30 minutes and it should be ready. Ok great. 30 minutes go by and I call to see if it ready the automated thing said it was still processing ok finally get to talk to pharmacist and she said it’s going to be another 45min ok. Get off the phone and they call right back saying they didn’t have all my daughters antibiotics at this point I’m aggravated and tell them to just give me my daughters prescription so I can go somewhere else to get my daughters meds filled today and not sometime tomorrow assuming they got in the meds that were needed. I will not be back! Y’all need to do better and stop lying to patients and ask if a substitute is ok if the original isn’t covered by insurance.

In the last year, this pharmacy has gone from \\\"iffy\\\" to down right deplorable in terms of service. Additionally, the last two times I have been here, the drive thru has been closed during regular hours, with the inside line being long and slow.

Long lines at drive through and inside store. Just another place playing the covid card and not employing enough staff to handle customer needs. Fill your prescription elsewhere.

I'd rate lower if it was allowed. If this wasn't what my insurance basically forced us to use I would go elsewhere. They are still a pain in my side every single time. So every single time it is a pain. Not even joking. Today I called in and was on hold for over 30 minutes and never got to a human and had to get off the phone to do real work. So I called back in and I called in at 5pm. The entire time it said there are more than 3 people ahead of you. THEN it FINALLY said there is 1 caller ahead of you. AND THEN at 6pm it said the pharmacy is closed for a meal break. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? EVERY SINGLE PERSON takes their breaks at the same time? I have worked retail. I worked at an Eckerd's before I went to college. So I KNOW about working at a drug store. I also have worked in retail sales for clothing and in many restaurants. I prefice this so that all the people reading this don't say put yourself in their shoes. BECAUSE I HAVE BEEN IN THEIR SHOES. No I have not been a pharmacist. But I have never worked where everyone went on break at the same time. So now here I set on hold since 5 pm and the hold music whatever you call that basically says no one is coming back till 6:30 from their meal break and there is 1 caller ahead of you. What kind of nonsense is this? I continue to hear about COVID as an excuse out of everyone's mouth about being understaffed. Ok well if I had not had an insanely bad experiene every single time with Walgreen's when COVID was not around MAYBE I'd take that unhappily but yeah I am not buying that. Maybe close the darn pharmacy entirely if it's so hard to staff and we will just have to go to a different store but we all know they get too much money off RX to do that. Last month the pharmacy people (not the manager but someone else) was very rude to me. And prior to that they filled a RX that I have NEVER filled generic as a generic. I had my hubs pic it up and when he got home I freaked out. I called in and asked has it been filled generic ever and they looked and said no and this specific medication I have been on for 39 years. They finally put on all my meds the note about that one med to never fill it generic. So every time I fill a RX that note pops on all my RX about the other one. Other RX can be generic just not that ONE. So her I still sit on hold over an hour and 20 minutes now and still have not reached a human. Very sad Walgreens. I need to see how much more I will have to pay to fill my RX somewhere else as WALGREENS is always such a PITA. I ended up being on the phone for 2 hours to get to a human.

I was in this Walgreens today purchasing some items and my Register Reward didn't print. My cashier and the manager were so helpful and assisted me with my transaction. They were kind and helpful and made the transaction work! Thank you so much!!!! You guys are great!

Came out this way for work today and this was my first stop of the day. The store was clean and SPOTLESS bathrooms. Even though I didn't buy anything I was greeted warmly and given a "have a great day". What an enjoyable way to start my day!

They never have prescriptions ready when they say that they will be ready!!!!! Recently got a text saying my prescription was ready, went to pick up only to be told that they didn't even have it in stock?!?!? Will be using a different pharmacy from now on.
