UPDATE: After 6 months of back and forth, my mobility aid was delivered. Michael has been a big help to me throughout this whole nightmare. I am moving them from a 1 star to a 3 because it was finally resolved. I just do not believe 6 months is very tolerable when you have a disability and are unable to walk without assistance.
I was referred to them by my physician with high praise back in March, and now it is July. I have been assured multiple times that the required paperwork has been sent to my insurance provider. However, after I directly contacted my insurance company, they have confirmed that they have not received any such documents. Both my physician and my insurance provider have already given their approval. The lack of clear communication, the failure to keep me updated, and the repeated claims of paperwork submission that have not occurred have, unfortunately, resulted in a considerable amount of disappointment on my part.

Cheryl at American Lift Aids is amazing. My dad was prescribed a lift and scooter from the VA due to his Parkinson’s. I made several calls & emails with Cheryl to ask her questions. She helped us determine which vehicle/lift/scooter combo would work.

I had been trying to get a receiver on my car for a year and because of Cheryl Day I was able to get my receiver now I can use my lift on my car again. Thank you Cheryl

Initially the staff at American Lift Aid was very helpful for my elderly father with ordering a motorized wheelchair. We had some problems that needed to be addressed and we were told there’s nothing wrong with the wheelchair and were ignored. No one called us back after multiple tries.

American Lift Aids is a great business for people with disabilities. I've done business with them for many years. Whether you have insurance or not, they will work with you...I've gotten to know the manager, Tim very well. Every one who works there is very nice.

A few years ago my husband was robbed and shot in the back. He was left paralyzed from the chest down. We found a van but the lift was going out. Cheryl and the guys worked tirelessly to help us get a new one. Even through COVID they worked none stopped to even make sure my husband got to his doctor appointments. Tim and the entire team at American Lift Aids went above and beyond to help me get the automated door on my truck fixed. This allowed me to maintain my independence and mobility so I can continue doing my daily activities. After my door braking on me, multiple times, Rikki and the team at American Lift Aids fixed my door despite my insurance no longer covering the expense. I can’t thank Tim and his entire team enough for all that they have done for me and for how delightful it has been to do business with them. I highly recommend American Lift Aids for any wheelchair-accessible vehicle needs and custom vehicle modification needs.

Tim was outstanding, all of the staff at American Lift Aids did an amazing job getting us into the vehicle that suits our needs. Very knowledgeable and helpful when showing us the various lifts and capabilities there is to offer. Tim quickly had us in our New Ride!!
