This place will sell you a car with no problem, but don't expect any kind of repair service here. Take it somewhere else. If you show up with an issue, the first thing they ask is "do you have an appointment?". If you don't, then they say "well we can't get to it for at least a month." Umm, how is that even a thing? I didn't plan for my car to have a problem. I tried to get an issue resolved here a couple months ago (with an appointment) and my car sat all day with no one looking at it. Wasn't even communicated to me until I showed up to pick the car up. Even after talking with the "Service Manager", I still couldn't get the issue fixed. Had to go to another Hyundai dealer an hour and a half away.Oh, and don't even try to go online to make an appointment because the service website is absolute garbage. As of today, you can't even "make an appointment" online for 2 months. And it's only at 10:15am? Why has Hyundai not shut this place down yet? They spent all this money renovating this dealership but clearly don't have the time, capacity or employees to do repair service.I have bought two vehicles here and my second will be the last from this place because the service department is so awful.

My wife waited for over 2 years to upgrade to a newer car. We found what we thought would be a great pre-owned certified 2022 Hyundai Santa Fe from Patterson. It’s been nothing but nightmares with it and the problems where 20% factory related and 80% service related. I’m not blaming the people in the service office because they have to have a tuff job catching all the grief from what there shop is doing to them. Our car has been in the shop 6 times in less than a year. All of those times where because their so called mechanics forgot 12 bolts in our under skirt which folder under the car while out of town. Then they didn’t tighten the drain plug on an oil change. The next time they had to replace the thermostat and then just neglected to put coolant back in it and put my wife on the side of the road with an overheated car. Just because you take your picture next to a ASE CERTIFIED MECHANIC POSTER does not make you a mechanic so why don’t you vet them guys in your shop and at least teach them righty tighty lefty loosey and when you take something off a car or out of a car you have to put it back. The only reason we even go up there is because it’s certified and we have to to keep the warranty current. I feel like I’m over a barrel with this place and just want them to try and take some pride in there work and do the job that you are hired to do.

I usually don’t do this, but servicing here is a nightmare. I brought my vehicle in to a scheduled appointment To have my oil changed, and my oil pan gasket fixed because I was told at my last oil change that there was a leak. I was told that the appointment time does not guarantee that my car will be looked at even though I scheduled the appointment around two or three weeks in advance to guarantee that my vehicle would be fixed whenever I brought it in.My vehicle was looked at for around an hour, but the biggest issue is I called to see whether my vehicle had been fixed or looked at and never got a call back. I also received a call either the next day or the day after where they asked how I felt about my service and I let them know this situation, and I still have received nothing from the servicing department.

Our experience with Courtney was amazing. She took the time to listen to our needs and help us find the perfect car. When we test drove we did not feel rushed and she took time to show us all the details about the car and tell us all about the Hyundai safety features and warranties. She patiently answered all of our questions and was very knowledgeable about the vehicles and tube Hyundai brand. Would highly recommend to others and would purchase here again.

Better service than BMW or Mercedes Benz. From the sales rep to the finance department - it was stressless. I didn’t have to have a new vehicle, nor did I have to have a Hyundai. I was looking at multiple vehicles/brands. Not only do I love my new vehicle, but the dealership made it easy. Everyone respected my needs/wants, and most importantly my time and money.

Don’t take your car to Tyler Patterson Hyundai. You won’t see it for weeks and no one will answer our calls. If you are lucky enough to have someone actually answer the phone, we’ve been told repeatedly that no one knows the status of our car! It’s been there 2 1/2 weeks! No one will return our calls to give us the status of our car. This place is the MOST HORRIBLE car repair place!! They have the worst customer service and the service technicians supposedly “fixed” our car but I wasn’t 2 miles away from the dealership, after picking it up and the engine light came back on!! We took it to O Reilly’s to get a diagnostic check and it was the same exact code that we just paid 1300.00 to NOT have it repaired. What makes it even worse is Patterson denies everything! They won’t do anything to rectify the problem. We have been lied to and our money was stolen for work they didn’t actually do. Now we haven’t seen our car in 2 1/2 weeks! This place should be shut down by the Better Business Bureau.

I bought a 2021 Hyundai from Patterson with warranty. The car began to shake as I was driving in June. It was "fixed". In July driving the car and the car alerts that the battery is being depleted and to stop the car. I was in the middle of traffic. In August car began to shake while driving and returned to the dealership to fix. After the second time I took the car to the shop in August, I found out they never fixed the car in June. Read the service records. In October Hyundai refused to fix a part on the vehicle. Sent a letter to corporate and Hyundai USA. Hyundai USA called one time at the beginning of October. Patterson has yet to call despite me leaving the car at the dealership.I never went to the used car lot. I was intending to buy a 2023. I only bought the car after being assured the warranties would be the same and that there where no mechanical defects. I am now in the process of filing a complaint with the txdmv.gov.In addition, I am filing a complaint with the better business bureau.Do not buy a car from here. The customer service is awful, after purchase. In addition, I just read a post on next door about Patterson Hyundai not fulfilling warranty items.

Only thing worse than Hyundai car/engine is customer service. Engine rods came loose, warranty was approved, but they are doing anything and everything to not reimburse us. Every excuse under the sun AFTER the warranty was approved. Stay away from these profesional con artists. Thank God we have another car that’s not a Hyundai.
