Went in just to get a sympathy card for a friend, they had one card, but they had several for gay marriage (more people experience loss than there are gay marriages in Texas). Not sure I want to shop at Brookshires again.

Y’all need to either drop wic entirely or fix the issue. Like it already takes forever to use. Forever to shop for. But then for things like MILK. CEREAL. Half the produce to just not work because it’s just an issue on yalls end isn’t okay. Yall need to either fix that. Or stop accepting wic because you’re wasting peoples time. Like that’s just yall being lazy. So pick one. Either don’t take it. Or take it and actually scan the products in CORRECTLY. And actually MARK THE ITEMS WITH THE WIC STICKERS PROVIDED. Or just stop. Yall make everything harder than it has to be.

The pharmacists there two of them actually are very rude! There is one who always has an attitude towards certain people and the other one I saw how she spoke to another customer. 🤦 Not very welcoming or friendly people I don’t know their names but they may want to consider a different job? Because the way that they treat people is very unkind and unprofessional.

Brookshires, it's a big over priced grocery store. Good Bakery too. And it has BEER! But it does seem a little pricey to me. The produce is some of the best procured produce in all of East Texas. That I can say that for fact.

I’d like to suggest adding more non-fried green vegetable options to the deli plates. Currently, green beans are available inconsistently, and at times it’s unclear whether they’re actually green beans. For those of us with medical dietary restrictions that limit fried foods and carbs, it would be incredibly helpful to have more reliable, healthy side choices. It is not just at this location but all locations.

The people that work there are all great. But whoever was the manager there this morning needs training on customer service. Also please have a regular cashier. Self checkout is not it.
